The one thing that was not as we expected was that the voucher said that we would have a WI-FI connection. When we arrived we were told it was only available on the first floor (our room was on the fourth floor) and we would have to pay for two hours of WI-FI connection. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Villa Montparnasse to others. ... Villa Montparnasse is a small but very well maintained hotel. It is not near the major sites of Paris, but is is near a Metro stop and RER station that will take you to all parts of Paris. It is located near a street market that gives you a wonderful sample of every day Paris life.

The hotel is well located in a quite small street, the rooms are charming and with air condition, the bathrooms are fine and the breakfast is excellent -perfect both for business and private stays. Nearby you have a number of small restaurants as well as the train station, with direct trains to the airport.

Wonderful smile and the attendant knew exactly who I was even before me telling her. ... All staff, from front-desk to breakfast to cleaning staff, always smiled and greeted me. I absolutely appreciated every minute. I was treated special. ... Very friendly, accomodating staff. ... Charming, close to perfect little hotel in Paris.

We have previously stayed in the hotel and we enjoyed it so much the first time, hence the reason we returned to the same hotel. Rooms are very small but they are extremely comfortable and we loved out time there again. One suggestion: - is it possible to have a set of drawers for storing clothes that you don' hang up? ... Enjoyed the breakfasts a great deal and thought the amount of time for going to breakfast very acceptable. ... A fairly expensive hotel, slightly further than you would hope for from the centre of Paris, however, it is extremely lovely and the staff are very friendly and conciderate of your needs. The Metro is easyily accessable so therefore getting to the centre of Paris is not a problem at all. I would and have recommended this hotel to friends.

An email sent prior to our stay was completley ignored. Apart from that everything was really nice. ... Really nice, clean and very convenient for a stay in central Paris.

The bathrooms were very lovely - small but perfectly formed. ... I was impressed that all rooms were non smokeing - being a on-smoker this was fantastic, however my colleague who was a smoker was very surprised. ... Lovely - well placed in a nice area - if your budget allows its work the money.

My original room was too small for three people. I was moved to a two room suite for another 30 euros a night which was extremely noisy both day and night (due to construction and a construction crane which creaked with the wind). Finally, I was moved to another two room suite which was very nice (although the couchette didn't work one night). The staff was invariably helpful. My only complaint is that the pricing was a bit misleading, since their version of a three-person room doesn't come close to a three-person room in the U.S. (except, perhaps, if the third person is a baby). Chris Slobogin. ... See above. ... Perhaps note that it is close to the Catacombs, the Montparnasse Cemetery and not too far from Luxembourg Gardens, and that the train from the airport stops at the nearest Metro, Denfert-Rochereau. This would help people who don't want to pay the very high taxi rates. ... A good place to stay.

Difficulties in getting taxis, although there is a station nearby. One male receptionist could have been more helpful.

because the man punched in the numbers of my creditcard incorrectly, he told me that i needed to pay cash in advance the next morning for the whole stay. as the card was australian i had to make several calls there to ensure that there was nothing wrong with the card. this created unneccessary worry and expence for me, as i was on a longer trip around europe with my children. ... it is a clean and modern/quirky little hotel in central Paris. with 2 very friendly and helpful women (who appeared to be the owners.i would definitly recommend it to my friends!
