The Relais-Hôtel du Vieux Paris has a history all its own! Built in 1480, it belonged to the Duc de Luynes and the Duc d'O and was once the dwelling place of Pierre Séguier, the true Marquis d'O. In the 1950s and 60s, American poets adopted the site and in the same movement created the "Beat Generation". Among them were Burroughs, Kerouac, Ginsberg, Corso. Today, nostalgie souls are returning from Japan, Australia, America and Europe and bringing with them a new generation of artists.

At the Relais-Hôtel du Vieux Paris you'll find it all, right there on the streetcorner: the Seine, the Place Saint-Michel, the flower Market, Notre-Dame, the Louvre and Orsay Museums. In this area with a village-like charm, you'll fall under the spell of this vintage building bursting with poetry: the Relais-Hôtel du Vieux Paris.
