The Verneuil is a well established "best kept secret" in the Saint Germain des Prés area where so many of the charming hotels of Paris are located. It certainly retains a private house feeling, both by its modest size and by its atmosphere of a home away from home. Rue de Verneuil is a historic street where most of the buildings date back from the 17th and 18th century, and hotel Verneuil is no exception, with its vaulted basement housing the breakfast room, its spiral staircase and its Burgundy stone pavement. |
Each of its rooms has been decorated in different fabrics and personally chosen pictures, thus making every trip to the hotel a new one. The rooms are mostly small in size but they compensate in charm what they cannot offer in space, and some of them can accomodate a rollaway bed for the extra guest or accompanying child. Service is a philosophy, and everyone at the Verneuil is trying its best to make every guest feel absolutely comfortable and happy, even after a 12H flight or a long car journey trough France! |
Rue de Verneuil is quiet and secluded in an animated area, so the trip to a nice restaurant is often just a stroll away as is the walk to Orsay and Louvre museums, only few minutes away. As for shopping, it is a real paradise: Hotel Verneuil is nestled in the middle of the best area for art galleries, fashion and home decorating boutiques. |
Transportation is easy, thanks to the numerous bus and metro stations nearby, and the easy access to train station and airports (the hotel organises shuttle transfers to and from the main airports). In the small lounge guests gather for a drink by the fireplace or indulge into some relaxing time, reading books or magazines from the library. This beautiful small hotel is the ideal place for a demanding clientele who wish to experience a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. |
