Being in the heart of historic Paris, you will immediately be tempted to go for a walk in the very vibrant atmosphere of the Place de la République...culture and shopping right at your doorstep! You have made an excellent decision in visiting Paris, the capital of fashion and good taste. This city offers you a multitude of areas to visit, ranging from cultural sites, shopping, and walks along the Seine, which I would personally recommend. For the connoisseurs of fine cuisine, Paris is the capital of gastronomy. Don't miss some of the essential sites which I highly suggest. For example, start your visit of Paris with the Place des Vosges and the very old "troisième arrondissement" (Third District), which is where you will find some very distinctive architecture, then through the Sentier Quarter to the Centre Pompidou and Les Halles. Another idea would be to take a stroll through the Eiffel Tower area and see the imposing view that it offers. Other sites to be seen are the famous Butte Montmartre, dear to painters of yesterday and today, the walkways along the Seine and its secondhand booksellers, then to the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Ile Saint-Louis and the terrace of the famous ice cream vendor, Berthillon. Thank you for choosing Hotel Taylor in your selection of hotels. I would be delighted to accommodate you in my city, one of the most tourist-friendly and beautiful places of the world. |
