The staff were very helpful and offered advice on local attractions, taxis, buses etc. ... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only negative point was that quite a bit of building work was going on throughout the premises, which i was not expecting. However it did not create any problems for me, nor did it make my stay less enjoyable. ... There was a slight problem with the bill on check-out. We had been charged for one extra breakfast than we actually had. I pointed it out to the hotel reception staff and they corrected it immediately. ... It would have been good if you included details of using the jacuzzi and fitness centre. Such as nedd to pre-book facilities; extra cost, and opening hours. Unfortunately I cannot remember the details. ... Very good location. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast, served within reaonable hours. Clean and tidy.

I have already told many of of our friends about the website,it is awesome...and addicting! I could not pull myself away from it...it had great info and good photos. ... Only comment is to not only show the highest level rooms but also to show mid range romms. When we got to the hotel we were expecting rooms similar to what was shown on that hotels webpage. Our room was much smaller , but we still liked it nonetheless. If we went back to Paris we wopuld stay there again! ... pretty easy to use ... Hotel was in a great location. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful... ... very quick and easy ... Location, location, location..... It is situated in a very quaint area of the Latin Quarter, with sidewalk shops and cafes. ... no other website gives you as much info and the photos to me are worth the most.
... Very charming, cute hotel with a lot of character, located in the best part of town...almost like a 'Bohemian-type' atmosphere. Very easy access to great restaurants and the Cathedral of Notre Dome.

Initially, they offered us one double room and one room with two twin beds- not what we asked for or agreed to. But they offered us another double room without incident. ... The hotel is adorable, though cozy. The pictures render it as somewhat larger than actual size, but not an issue for the most part. The elevator was so small it was funny (until you had to actually utilize it for something important like transporting heavey large luggage up five flights). ... Yes- there was a gentleman working the midnight shift who approached us in the lobby Sundy night. He asked us about transportation back to the airport and gave an explanation about the shuttle vs. a private taxi. He finished by saying that though it was more expensive for the four of us to travel by shuttle, it was more reasonalbe due to size of accommodation as well as getting our own shuttle because we were four persons travelling. When it did arrive, it already had one person in it, and as my mother had trouble with the luggage and the elevator, we were just over 5 minutes late. We then travelled across town to pick up an additional 3 people before leaving for the airport directly. This was NOT what he described to us and it left us with the sense that he was getting more out of our booking the shuttle than we certainly did. We were left feeling uncomfortable for making the first passenger wait (then the next three passengers were waiting in their hotel lobby as well). ... Your site does a very good job of communicating the hotel accommodations except for the bathrooms. My parents fell in love with the stone walls and that's the primary reason they wanted this hotel. While they did get a room with a stone wall in it, the bathroom was very small indeed. Had we had a chance to see a floorplan first, we would have chosen either another accommodation, or another room with a larger bathroom. ... Charming, though cozy. Very well placed in the city for a relaxing vacation of either sightseeing or simply enjoying Paris.

We had a difficult finding the Hotel. This was mainly because of the Paris lack of signs, and the failure of the directions to indicate left or right turn on the street. Also, the numbering in Paris is absurd. We do not blame either the Hoetel or ParisBy. ... One of our party left a day early. The hotel had agreed that we could stay in the same room at the 2 person rate. I was not sure how that would be worked out, but the Hotel took care of it exactly as promised without any reminder from me. ... The website mentioned using the San Michelle metro stop. Actually either the Murtaine (spelling is wrong) or Cardinale Lemoine stop is better. The Murtaine stop would have been best, but it was closed for remodeling until late November 2003. San Michelle is in a very busy location and it is hard to find the hotel from there. ... Absolutely excellent! We would stay there again on a Paris trip.

The location is excellent. It is a very nice part of the town, with nice restaurants and shops nearby and you can even do some sightseeing in the direct area of the hotel. ... It is a good hotel to spend your hollidays, with nice rooms, a good ambience and friendly people. The only negative point is that the rooms could be a bit cleaner.

This was the third occation that we stayed at the Hotel Sully Saint Germain - our previous stays were quite good prompting our current booking (although we did note that the elevator rattled, shook and was noisy in 2004).
During this stay the elevator broke down almost daily for many hours each day. While this was inconvenient to myself, it was a serious hardship to my wife, who suffers from arthritus in her knees and high blood pressure. Our request to be moved to a room on a lower floor (we were on the 4th) was rejected.
Needless to say, it is unlikely that we will book this hotel again on future trips. ... In spite of almost daily elevator failures requiring us to climb four stories, the hotel offered no form of compensation upon checkout. ... Management inaction has allowed some basic key services to fall into disrepair eg. the one elevator sericing the facility has required major servicing for at least two years (since at least our last visit 2004)and failed daily during our stay and there was no control of the heat in the room (opening the window allowed high levels of street noise in). ... Stay away until management corrects the faults in its basic facilities ie. elevator and heating. Otherwise this was and could be a pleasant place to stay - close to many sites, generally good staff service and an excellent breakfast value.
