We walked from Gare du Nord with bags and should have taken a cab or gone to the closer metro station (Anvers). Would be useful to mention in instructions. ... Very convenient to Montmartre and easy to get to other parts. Good value for money with helpful, English speaking staff.

They put us in a double room so we had to move to another room. ... Shower did not function so had to move to another floor(2nd move)no help offered by staff. Shower in new room was not perfect. ... Parking is very close in underground car park ... Comfortable and great access to Monmartre and easy access to Paris generally.

Having lived in Paris I would say that it probably the best 2 star hotel in the area. Although Monmartre is a very popoular tourist area it is pretty edgy at night, the property in the area is normally badly maintained and the streets aren't as clean etc. The hotel is on the edge of this and you don't get that sense of hustle and bustle. The hotel itself looks very grand from the outside and this gives it the feel of a higher star rated hotel. Also the hotel is very 'child friendly' and did what they could to accommodate our needs. ... Great. Recommended.

What a great place!! The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was bigger than I was expecting, the room was clean, and the shower was hot, so we have nothing to complain about. For the price I think we got our money's worth. I would have liked to check out the farmer's market across the street since we arrived on a Friday, but unfortunately we arrived too late, about 8pm, so we missed it. ... wonderful! ... I forgot to mention to the receptionist that we were checking out at 6:30am, so of course he was still sleeping (due to his pjama's!), but he was standing at the counter waiting for us when we got downstairs. ... The room had a blow dryer, I don't think that was mentioned! ... I would recommend the place to a friend, it had everything we wanted, it was clean, and there was plenty of space for us.

There was no record of my internet booking, but upono showing my print-out of the World-By booking, we were immediately booked into a most beautiful room with utterly incredible views. The booking was honoured according to prices despite their not having a record of it. All staff, especially Hakim, were very very helpful, always smiling and relaxed and helped make our stay in Paris the time of our lives. ... I would recommed the Square D'Anvers to everybody planning a trip to Paris. The location is perfect. The voucher mentioned wireless internet, which was not there, but there were many internet cafes locally. ... The concierge was up at 4am to assist us in leaving the hotel, which was very much appreciated. ... We plan to stay there every time we visit Paris. ... It is the most charming building, next to a park, in a bustling and lively area of Montmartre. The views are spectacular, the Eiffel Tower in front of you, Montparnasse to the left and the Sacre Coeur to the right. It is the best postitioned hotel in that area, with the park space in the front. There is also a charming coutryard for breakfast and lunch. It is the perfect Montmartre experience.

Hotel not in a very convenient location; bedding had plastic lining under the mattress and not a very comfortable at all. ... Yes - unconfortable bedding - small rooms and a bit old-fashioned.
