This was our third stay here. The location of the hotel is perfect for us, and the room very spacious by Parisian standards.
We will certainly stay here again.

The location - at a four way intersection; down one street is the Cluny, down the second is Rue St. Jacques, down the 3rd is St. Severin which has to be one of the most beautiful church interiors in Paris, and down the 4th through Rue de la Parchemenerie is the bustle leading to Place St. Michele.
2. The views of Paris, especially from the terraces on the top floor.

When we went to ur room, there was a fresh fruit basket waiting for us with a lovely note telling us to enjoy our stay in Paris. There were also 2 dinner plates and silverware to use with the fruit.

The room was very clean and fresh smelling as was the bathroom. The room was a little larger than we expected and very simply but nicely decorated.The large floor-to-ceiling window/doors made it seem mor spacious. We had a little balcony with 2 chairs and folding table and planter. We could see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the balocny.

The staff were always helpful with directions, suggestions and how to use the Metro. We routinely asked for wak-up calls and they were always polite and on time.

The lobby is very small, but I considered it to be boutique-like. The atmosphere is gentile and refined - as though you were in someone's home. The tub was a pleasure - long and deep and good to relax in after walking all day. The heated towel racks were wonderful since the weather was very cold even though it was May. We could warp ourselves in warm towels after coming in from a cool and rainy afternoon of sightseeing.
The restaurant next door was noisy one night even though we were on the 6th floor. We had our windows open for air. If the windows are closed to keep warm or if the AC is on, the noise is not a problem. We were awakened with yelling and shouting but it onle lasted about 10 minutes.

The hotel is cozy and small enough that you feel like a guest in someone's home. The atmosphere is subdued and refined yet we never felt awkward. The location is SUPERB - 2 blocks to the Seine and you can see Notre Dame from there. Near several Metro stations and probably a hundred restaurants and cafes. Almost at the intersection of Blvd St Michel and St. Germaine, but tucked away from the hustle-bustle on a quiet street.

The hotel is located away from the main busy road in a lovely little area of shops, cafes and restaurant.

This was probably the most efficient arrival experience I have ever had. Check in was done at lazer speed with the utmost proffessionalism.

Everyone from the receptionist to housekeeping were extremely polite and helpful. This being our first visit to Paris made it all the more special and enjoyable. I cannot say enough about the service and the people staffing the hotel. I want to especially focus on Betrice, she was extremely helpful and friendly. This was very important to my wife and I considering we knew nothing of the city or the language. She should be commended for her kindness and help.

Only one inconvenience....a wallrack of some
kind (heater or towel drying rack?) was
installed in the toilette in such a way that
interferred with the knees and prevented one
from sitting on the toilet seat other than
sideways.

It was a charming place, great location, very
comfortable beds. Felt at ease there. Staff

conveniently located for travel to and from
CDG airport and Roland Garros, was a good
crossroads location.

Small, but perfect. Our room was of equal size to an American hotel with a full bath. It isn't huge, but the view, the staff, the cleanliness & the warm atmosphere make it worth staying at over and over again.

We had a lovely experience At Hotel Parc St Severin. Great location lovely staff. Carolina was particularyly helpful. The breakfast was well worth the cost and the attendant was superb. all in all I would highly recommend this establishment.

They gave us an upgrade in the room without an extra charge. They met us at the door and carried in our luggage.

The only negative was that there were a couple of hall lights out and I brought this to their attention, but they hadn't been replaced a day later as we left.

Charming Parisan Hotel. Our room had lovely furniture including a beautiful antique armoire.The room was quite spacious for a Paris Hotel. The windows opened out like door and we had a view overlooking surrounding rooftops. The bathroom was spacious and had a drying rack that was great for keeping towels and laundry warm and dry.We were so conveniently located to several Paris attractions. Best of all the beds were comfortable and the room very quiet, so we got a great night sleep.It was late November and a bit :cool' in Paris, but we were toasty warm in this great little hotel.

Very accommodating - Room was ready for us approx 2 hours early. We only had to wait about 20 minutes when we arrived -- took a short walk; suitcases were brought to our room while we were out.

Concierge was very helpful. Ordered us a cab a day in advance, wrote down exactly what to say in French to the cab driver to get us to the Air France Shuttle stop.

The hotel is ideally located in the VERY busy and touristy Latin Quarter but is situated such that it is on the quietest street in the quarter - that was a treat.

The Hotel Parc St. Severin is a clean, quiet hotel with great service and larger than normal sized (by French standards) rooms for the value. It is in one of the best locations in Paris, yet still out of the way.

The staff at the hotel was especially helpful and polite. I cannot recall a better experience from any other hotel except from hotels in the luxury class catagory. Nonetheless, I would rate this hotel first class.

The web site was very good in providing everything I needed i.e. photos, prices. I had to consult other sources for evaluations on this hotel and received very high marks.

I have stayed at the Parc St Severin on several occasions and will continue to do so. They are always helpful and polite, allowing guests to leave suitcases or other things in storage if one leaves Paris. On this occasion, they even left me a nice fruit basket in my room.

Staff is unusually pleasant and helpful. The staff has remained a constant since I have been staying there and they always remember me.

Convenient to all left bank interests...close to metro stops that traverse the city. Next to a church with lovely bells. Just off St. Germain but quiet by Paris standards, it is easy to find when you return each day.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that there was a charge to use the lobby computer to access the internet. Other hotels we stayed at that had lobby computers did not charge for this.

The hotel is located in a convenient location for seeing the sights near the Latin Quarter and for accessing the Metro and RER. Our room was comfortable and quiet and was a good value for a three star hotel.

Would have been useful if it had been pointed out on arrival re ordering your breakfast the evening before. However saying this there are lots of places to have breakfast in the surrounding area

The only trouble we had was in leaving the Metro station and getting oriented as to where we were. Luckily, we found a map near the station and were able to locate the correct street.

There is a computer available for Internet access, which was a bonus! The staff was extremely helpful in arranging transportation to the airport. It was extremely quiet, which made it delightful for sleeping.

I would recommend the hotel for its central location and friendly staff. Although the rooms are small, they are well kept and clean. It is also VERY quiet, and ideal for sleeping.

The bathroom had no shower curtain,or glass, so showers were rather tricky and had to be done sort of sitting in the tub or water went everywhere.
The room was VERY small for 3 people. The 3rd bed was obviously just shoved in & we had to crawl over the bed to get in at night.
Also the room looked nothing like the terrace-view sort of thing in the photo, nor was it particularly cheery or nicely decorated. Adequate would best describe it.
HOWEVER, the location was terrific if you want to be in the action all night & close to metro lines. We loved the location in the city-hoppin' all day & night!

We requested that the clerk call a taxi for us to be at the train station on time. No taxi ever came. When I went to tell her that I was concerned & needed a taxi immediatement she seemed non-plussed & didn't do much nor apologize for the taxi company. Ended the stay on a bad note.

We arrived late at night and our checkin was quick and hassle free.

For some reason the property looks a bit nicer on the web than in person. It was a little disappointing in that regard, but it realy was fine for our purposes.
Also, FYI, we would routinely arrive back at around 11pm or so and the desk clerk on those nights (June 1, 2, 3) was a bit nasty to us the first night. We did not know what button to press and were a bit confused when we rang the bell for the door. We probably pushed the bell too many times (out of confusion, nothing else) or pushed it too long and he was very sarcastic and angry at us for our 'impatience.' We tried to explain that we didn't mean it and that we were just confused more than anything, but he was pretty snarky. In the next nights we tried to be very 'good' when we came in.
The morning staff was quite nice--the women that is. As were the cleaning staff. Very nice ladies.

Its location relative to public transport is important, especially if you have large suitcases. It's really convenient to get to the train station from the hotel (ie, no changing metro stops, etc). And, there are multiple metro stops. The proximity of the metro stops should be emphasize.

Excellent location on a quiet side street. Close to metro, easy to find, clean, basic hotel. Decor was a bit tired. Room is not huge, but is what you'd expect in a city. Nice big bathroom sink. No bidet.

In my reservation I asked for an early check-in as I was on an overnight flight and arrived at 8:30 AM. Despite my request, my room was not available until 2:30 PM. In future I would appreciate early access to my room and would be willing to pay a reasonable additional fee for that service.

Aside from my difficulty with early check-in, I find the Parc St. Severin to be an excellent hotel and have taken the liberty of recommending it to colleagues travelling to Paris.

A colleague had a room on the 6th floor with a balcony and I found the view to be wonderful. Perhaps enhanced promotion of your balcony rooms with website pictures would be worthwhile?

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the hotel. The only comment I could make is that the continential breakfast for 10 Euros was high, when all we wanted was coffee. There should be another option for just coffee or tea.

Our room, #53 (I think), was lovely. Matching window treatments and bedspread, three nice windows (including one in the bath, always a plus). And the storage space was extraordinary.

Easy to get lost in the pedestrian streets - locate the Pantheon as your landmark (it can be seen as it's higher than everything else), and fix the hotel to the Pantheon in your mind. Else, you might get lost in the maze, like we did!

SInce I'd stayed at the hotel before, I didn't read your directions. They were very accomodating and had a room ready for me upon arrival at 11:00 am.

The hotel is lovely and my room was quite large. The decor is a bit worn in some places but otherwise it's very well maintained.

They had everything ready for me when I arrived at the desk to check out. They had asked me the day before if I needed transportation to the airport, and they made a reservation for the shuttle - very nice!

Unfortunately, that area is quite a tourist spot and can be noisy, especially if the windows are open.

I would definetly recommend the hotel to friends but would caution them about the noise. But on a positive note, the location couldn't be better - very close to many of the main attractions of Paris, to the Metro, and many buses. I love it!

I think the hotel should provide for non-smoking rooms. The room was comfortable but smelled like a smoke room.
