The hotel was situated in a lovely location. The reception was cool and very clean.

we were amazed at how quiet the room was when the windows were closed. We were not even aware of any traffic noise or people moving around in the rooms above or beside us.
this was our first time to visit Paris and we could not fault the Select Hotel

We checked out at the required time however our flight was not until later that night. The receptionist was most helpful to us and made sure that our bags were safe dueing the day and pre-booked us a taxi in the morning so we would not have to do so that evening. She also advised what time to book the taxi for so as to avoid the rush hour traffic and ensure that we got to the airport in plenty of time for our flight

i have described this hotel to a number of my friends on my return from Paris as a friendly, clean and quiet hotel with attentive and friendly staff, tucked away in a very appealing location with a fountain outside. Ideally situated for exploring all of Paris and within easy reach of metro and the beautiful luxemborg gardens. I have recommended this hotel as a 'must' for any stay in Paris and expect to return myself on many more occasions.

I think its location is under estimated. right in the centre of the latin quater yard onto a square with cafes's buskers etc. This feature was much more delighful tham described

It is a very nice hotel - very clean, and friendly staff. In an excellent location to see the sights of Paris, and just a short walk from the Metro and many places to eat.

The rooms are good and clean, however very small. If that was what you consider to be a superior double then what would the regular one be like? Anyway, if a first time visitor in Paris it's good enough since you are gonna spend most of your time visiting museums and places...

Please include that location wise, it's one of the best places to stay. It's pretty close to everything, and that cannot be seen on the map

I would definitely recommend it but only to first time visitors in Paris. Clean rooms (tiny though) and helpful people (English speaking, for those who don't speak French!). Good location (close to underground and easy to find a taxi).

The staff was very helpful. We arrived a day ahead of friends who were coming the next day the staff asked us if we would like accommodations for our friends on the say floor and even arranged for them to be in a room directly across from ours. They were very helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with restuarant reservations and made sight seeing suggestions that were very useful.

The entire stay was very enjoyable and the hotel and staff well above our expectations.
The only suggestions we would have would be regarding the breakfast. We would have like an additional choice of cereals and perhaps some coldcuts (cold meats) as were provided in other Eurpean countries. Also fresh fruit rather than canned fruit when in season would have been a nice touch.

A very cozy and well appointed hotel with all the modern conveniences. Well located in the Latin Quarter and easy to reach on public transportation from the airport and for sight seeing. A beautiful location on the Plaza de la Sorbonne. We will tell all our friends what a great find it is.

My one complaint: I believe I had asked for a non-smoking room, but the room I was given was quite obviously a smoking room; it smelled bad.

The room was not the same standard as other spaces; breakfast room and lobby were much nicer. I was informed that the rooms are to be renovated shortly as well which will balnce the situation.

We were not informed that the hotel reception was being renovated while we were there. This caused the hotel to look a bit shabby, but in fact it didn't affect our stay much.
The standard rooms are VERY small.

Very good location (central and yet quiet), extremely helpful receptionsts, small rooms, clean & friendly atmosphere, breakfast is good for French standards (continental - simple buffet style).

It should include that it is very conveniently located right in the heart of the Latin Quarter and is located off busy Boulevard St. Michel in a little square so that it is protected from street noise.
It should also advise that the hotel does not have traditional showers, rather the bathroom is equipped with a tub and a hand-held shower head.

Great little boutique hotel, modern, clean, and perfectly situated. Located in a little square off the Blvd St Michel near the entrance to the Sorbonne. Square itself has a number of little outdoor cafes to sit at the end of long day and drink wine. Lovely breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

The room was very tiny and I should not have liked to send more than two nights in it. The en suite was ingeniously fitted into it but as with all these conversions it reduced the space available significantly. However, we did book a standard room.
We were impressed that when we returned on our first day the Receptionist said the shower had been mended although we had not mentioned it. That means the maid must have reported it promptly.

Very convenient and central; the breakfast room is in the basement and dark but adequate given that there were plenty of places to eat outside the hotel. Very quiet at night as promised and this was important to us.

I had to wait very long for the room occupancy. The room was not ready until 2.30 p.m.
It should be made clear to customers at the time of booking that rooms are not ready before 2 p.m. and later.

It is a good hotel. I am ready to recommend it, except for the room service which is done at a very uncomfortable time of the day.
Also breakfast could be better: for instance, they could provide yogurt as it is done almost everywhere in decent hotels.
