I did not pay attention to your directions to the hotel, and can not say very much about it.

The hotel is spacious and nice, but should have been renovated already 5-10 years ago. Carpets and furniture are sometimes worn out.

all of the staff was very friendly and jovial with us. They were very helpful and wanted to do anything to make our stay wonderful!

It is very close to the metro, so getting around Paris or going to the outskirts like Versailles was very easy and the staff will help with directions if you need them. Also, the breakfast was great!

Easy to get to using Roissy bus from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Opera, just 5 minutes by foot. Also, RER station very close. Just note that Rue de Caumartin is rather narrow and you can easily miss it.

Very convenient to all the major department stores. The Louvre is a pleasant 30-minute walk, lots of interesting options.

Good, solid rather than special, very convenient, friendly staff. Value for money taking into account that Paris is expensive for accommodation.

Good basic accommodation in a central location, friendly and efficient staff. It's a good place from which to access the major sightseeing attractions and I would go again.

We got a cab from the station so only used the address stated to get to the Hotel. The room was not as described in your website (see below).

Having spent one night in the allocated room we discovered a significant amount of damp was in the room. The room was also very small. We complained at reception and was moved to another room for the second night which was satisfactory.

The room we got the second night was the standard we would have expected. The accomodation the first night was very poor.

I was very pleased that the Hotel would allow me to check in early (7.30 AM) as i had just landed in paris after a 24 hour flight from new Zealand. if they had not allowed this early check in, I would have needed to find another hotel who would allow this. I will be staying with them again as long as they allow this privilege

We were made most welcome by the Reception staff when we arrived and they were very helpful during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at The St. Petersbourg and will certainly return when we visit Paris again in the future. We found the position of the hotel very convenient for sight-seeing and were very comfortable during our stay.

A good, family run hotel - comfortable, clean and friendly. Excellent area for restaurants, bars, cafes etc. - except on Sunday when it is necessary to look outside the area for these facilities. However, a short walk towards Opera and there is a selection of restaurants etc., open on Sunday evenings.

We initially got an inadequately small room
but the next day, they very graciously moved
us to a bigger more appropriate room at the
same price.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable but
very dated in their decor. The staff was very
helpful and tried hard but a concierge to
direct us would have been helpful. The price
was expensive enough to warrant a concierge.

room (I did not get his name). All the staff

I went to your hotel because my Grandfather
stayed there before WWI in 1918. He had saved
the card all these years and I found it. It
was my son's first trip to France. This does't
have anything to do with the website but it
is why we chose the Hotel.
