The Hotel Saint Pétersbourg was created in the 19th century. It was named during that period, when the ballet company of the city of Saint Petersbourg performed in the nearby Opera Garnier and many of the artists used to stay at the hotel. |
Since then the hotel has been in the hands of three different families: a British family owned the hotel until 1930; this family created an English bar remained unchanged 1968 and that continued to welcome world famous guests. After that a Swiss family bought the hotel and ran it until 1950, when the Pouliquen family, the current owners of the hotel, bought the Saint Pétersbourg. |
