By plane: coming from CDG, Roissy, airport, there are "air-shutle" busses that take you directly to our hotel and the journey coming from the "Charles de Gaulle" airport is about one hour long. If you are coming by yourself, with almost no luggage, the underground might be the cheapest. Once passed the customs doors, look for and follow the signal "Paris by train": you might have to take the airport internal bus (navette) to the "RER" (Regional Express Railroad network) station, this bus is marked "RER station - Paris by train". At the RER station, you have to look for the ticket sales window to get your own, which you have to keep with you all the way coming to the last metro station near the hotel, you will need this ticket when changing from the RER network to the Paris metro network, it is the only way you have to prove (if needed) that you payed your transportation fee. All trains come to Paris and the journey is about 45 minutes. Get off at Chatellêt-Les Halles station. Look for and follow the signes "line 14" of the metro network, to get to that line you will need to use again the same ticket, keep it with you once you pass the exchange-doors. Over your right, about 20 meters farther, you get to the access tunnel to the line 14, follow it. Take the train going to "Madeleine" station. On "Madeleine" station, look for and follow the signal "line 12". Take the metro going to "Mairie d'Issy" (end of the line). Get off at "Rue du Bac " station (the fourth one). Once out, you can get ride off your metro ticket (look for a garbage basket). You are almost here, take Rue du Bac behind you on your right, we are one block and a half far from the metro station, across Grenelle street, look for us at 88, rue du Bac (left side).
By train: coming from gare du Nord: you can take a taxi: it will certainly be the easiest way to come to the hotel. If you want to come by metro, the best choice is: take metro line n° 4 direction "Porte d'Orléans". Get off at "Montparnasse-Bienvenüe" station and without going out change to line 12, direction "Porte de la Chapelle". Get off at "Rue du Bac" station. When you get out, take rue du Bac behind you on your right, we are one block and a half far from the metro station, across Grenelle street, look for us at 88, rue du Bac (left side).
By car: if you are coming by car, when approaching Paris, take the periphérique Boulevard to get into Paris at Porte d'Orléans. At Porte d'Orléans, drive through to boulevard du Général Leclerc that you have just in front. At the first round-intersection (Denfert Rochereau palza with a Lion statue at about 1 Km farther), drive to boulevard Raspail (front of you on the left), then straight to the intersection of boulevard Raspail - boulevard saint Germain and rue du Bac (about 2 Km farther). Turn to the left (almost U-Turn) and the hotel is on the middle of the second bloc, across Grenelle street, look for us at 88, rue du Bac (left side). You could park the car in the street, if not you have 2 parking-lots at less than 1 minute in walking time from the hotel. |
