Great location right by Metro (M : Place Monge) and 2 blocks from wonderful range of eateries on Rue Mouffetard. Attractive, cozy, typically compact rooms with very pleasant bathrooms (including good water pressure) and useful mini-bar for food storage. Thin walls may be a little annoying for light sleepers if they have noisy neighbors. Helpful, pleasant staff.

~ We always picked up breakfast on the go, so we cannot comment one way or the other on the breakfast facilities in the hotel. ... ~ We had to store our luggage until late afternoon. The was very little storage space for luggage - expect to feel like you're imposing on the staff with it, as much of it was stored in the manager's office. ... ~ Pastry shops, a quiet square surrounded by restaurants, Roman ruins, a laundromat, weekend markets and Metro stop are all within 2 blocks of the hotel.
... ~ Hotel was in a very nice part of town, very close to the metro, very comfortable, acrtoss the street from some great local shops, quiet and affordable.

I have always really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Saint christophe. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and warm, the breakfasts enough to get me moving, and the location perfect, and the price reasonable. This is my second visit and I am planning on a third.

The Hotel Sainte Christophe is a gem. It's just far enough from the tourist area of Boulevard Ste Germain/St Michel to allow you to feel you are in a residential neighborhood. Absolutely incredible Patisserie and Boulangerie across the street, wine bar next to it, and lots of neighborhood brasseries nearby. Rue Mouffetard is a very happening place one long block up the hill, with a younger crowd, lots of nightlife, great restaurants. There are 2 Metro lines nearby which give a lot of flexibility. Jardin des Plantes is at the end of the block, and the Seine is about a 10 minute walk.
Rue Monge can get a litte noisy, but the windows do shut!
Great find. ... A very nice, well run, clean, personable small hotel. It's well located and offers a view of Paris that you will remember and treasure. Not for those who want to be surrounded by tourists, but for those who want to get a feel of a Parisian neighborhood and still be close to the action. I will return.

We took the RER from CD airport. The walk to the hotel was confusing because there were not enough street names mentioned to provide a direction to follow. And giving the distance in meters didn't mean a thing to Americans like us! If we had known to take the Place Monge exit on the Metro, that would have been perfect.
The young woman that greeted us was fantastic the entire time she was on duty during our stay. The older Asian woman was quite abrupt and rude, unhospitable.
We were allowed to check in a bit early and after our long, confusing walk that was very much appreciated! Everything was in order and welcoming as well as efficient.
Djamel (night reception) went out of his way to be helpful and cheerful and we wish we could have told him goodbye before we left! He was the BEST. ... We LOVED our stay and will go back again. It was exactly as I wanted for my first stay in Paris. The location was great, the neighborhood had much more to offer than was mentioned and we could only have asked for a street view to make it perfect. ... Only that the Asian woman and older man acted like they were glad to get us out of the way! ... The hotel is only a short walk from NotreDame and The Pantheon and wonderful shops, places to eat, markets, the metro and great Bolangers and Pastesseries! A market is at the Place Monge metro stop and was great! Narrow, cobblestone streets with shops and restaurants, a post office, so many things we enjoyed. ... I already have done that: It was exactly like I had hoped it would be! A darling Bed and Breakfast with windows open to the area and in the middle of real Paris life. Convenient to everything and helpful staff, comfortable room and I can't wait to go back.

The desk manger went out of her way to be helpful to us ... We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was pleasant and although it was small was very well designed in terms of space and storage. Check-in was quick and easy. I was given all of the information I needed regarding my stay at the hotel. ... My room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-designed. I was particularly impressed with the closet which included space to hang clothes, shelving, and a space underneath to store my suitcase. Everything could be put away neatly, leaving the room uncluttered. ... Check out was quick. I had the option of paying in Euros or Canadian currency. The man called for a taxi for me. ... I chose the hotel because a friend recommended it to me, not because of its website information. Hotel Saint Christophe has a charming French ambiance to it because it is small and traditional in its decor and the demeanor of the staff. It is the opposite experience of staying in a large, chain hotel. ... I have already recommended Hotel Saint Christophe to friends and will definitely stay there again on future trips.

We were very happy with the hotel and have forwarded a positive review on 'tripadvisor' also. The room was clean and the staff very friendly..we would definitely recommend the hotel and would return again. Thank you. ... see above comment ... very helpful and they allowed us to keep our luggage there as our flight was not until later in the day...they also helped to arrange transport to the airport. ... Small, friendly, in a quiet area but close to restaurants and bars..great for the evening as you don't have to walk miles or get a cab to find good bars, restaurants etc. Clean rooms, good powerful showers, near to Metro and park

The room was small but adequate for our weekend stay. ... yes, its location to the Notre Dame - my brother stayed there last year and his wift had given me an overview of its location and how to get there. I was also aware of the morning markets - maybe this should be published. You should also publish the cafes and Irish Pubs in the area ... The hotel is ideally located in the latin qtr and is within walking distance of a lot of lovely cafes and shops - and the morning market which is just around the corner. It is also ver near Notre Dame. I would definately recommend it to anyone travelling to Paris.

Perhaps our mistake but when we checked in it sounded as though breakfast was included as part of the hotel fee. I was suprised to find during checkout that breakfast was an additional charge - one that we would not have agreed to. We probably could have ate somewhere else in Paris for less.
I think we had asked for a non-smoking room but didn't receive. Perhaps there are no non-smoking rooms in Paris? ... Extremely noisy given its location to rue Monge but I guess that can't be avoided.
Good location, short walk to rue St. Germain which has good restaurants and activities. ... Not a bad hotel but compared to Canadian prices, extremely expensive for a three star rating. The price we paid would cover close to a five star here ie. Banff Springs or Lake Louise (world renowned). ... Average hotel at a high price. Probably normal for Paris though given it's a high volume tourist destination. Our exchange rate with the euro is not great either.

I don't remember any directions to the property on the website, so I can't answer this question, but i must otherwise i did this all for nothing, VERY IRRITATING!!!!! (i can't submit without answering all the questions) ... as far as I can remember, all the facilities listed on the web were available the room was clean, very important! not very spacious, but good enough, you only have to sleep in the room the breakfast was not good, only jam and butter to put on your bread, no herble tea (only black), the jus d'orange should be fresh, not out of a pack ... no ... i can't remember what i did and did not read on the website so ..... ... the hotel is situated in a very nice area

Check-in service was excellent - they had my reservation and I was checked in and provided with room key promptly. ... The room was a little smaller than I anticipated but I did not spend too much time in it! The bathroom facilities were excellent. The location was very good - within walking distance of the METRO. I appreciated the use of the mini-fridge for my water and the availability of the wake-up service on the phones. ... Again, no problems. The staff was very helpful in calling Airport Connection to confirm my reservation. ... No. ... Nice property, reasonably priced - good location with easy access to the METRO and within walking distance to many restaurants/shops on Rue Moffetard. Friendly, helpful staff.
