The person at the front desk was extremely gracious and helpful. ... We've stayed at the Hotel Rives de Notre Dame previously, it was then as now, a high point of our visit to Paris. ... Prompt and efficient check-out ... A small gem in a beautiful city.

the only down side to check-in was having to wait for the room. Unavoidable, given that the room was occupied the night before but,we had been up almost 24 hrs. ... enjoyed our stay. enjoyed the breakfast in the room. My husband had arranged for flowers to be in the room on arrival, and they were , just as asked. this hadn't happened at another hotel in Paris. ... the wake-up call and taxi were arranged as requested and all went smoothly. ...
See above ... A lovely boutique hotel with a lovely view of Notre Dame.good service and a lovely room.

We thoroughly appreciated our warm and helpful welcome. I absolutely adored our stay with this hotel - the hosts were so hospitable throughout the entire stay. The rooms were very pretty and very homely - we loved the little welcoming touches like the fruit baskets, the reading material, and the slippers and robe. ... I would recommend this hotel to anyone - it was situated in an excellent central location so we could walk to anywhere - including restaurants, shops and tour bus stops. And the view to the Notre Dame is AMAZING - we kept our large windows open up to the outside all the time. We felt amongst it all.
... The hotel's host was charming upon checking out - he helped with our luggage, and he helped us with directions out of Paris as we had hired a car. We felt like we were saying goodbye to a good friend. ... It's fabulous view to Notre Dame! ... A charming boutique b&b - in the heart of Paris. It felt like coming home rather than to a hotel.

We were warmly welcomed though arriving early due to our flight arrival time. Our room was ready in a few minutes while we went for a short walk. Upon returning from our walk we found our luggage already in our room. Most satisfactory. ... We have recommended the hotel to our friends. The service was very good and the location excellent. A very enjoyable stay. ... Very helpful. They ordered our taxi and provided directions to the driver. The bill was ready and service immediate. ... None ... Warm friendly boutique hotel, a large comfortable room with an excellent bathroom.
The breakfast was most enjoyable with a setting that was comfortable. The atmosphere was unhurried and the food most satisfactory. A very nice Continental Breakfast.
Best of all the location was excellent. We found we could walk almost everywhere. We had a wonderful stay.

Very welcoming. Check-in was hassle-free and quick. ... The rooms were soundproof and absolutely quiet and exceeded my expections. The bath was nice and clean and had all the amenities. Very quaint. ... Check-out once again was hassle-free and quick. Staff was appreciative, polite and professional on our exit which made us feel good. We also appreciated the opportunity to stay there. ... Positive-my husband enjoyed the availability of newspapers and magazines in the main sitting lounge of the lobby. Positive-my husband enjoyed the flat screen tv. Positive-excellent proximity to Latin Quartre restaurant district, right around the corner. Positive-excellent 24 hour, round the clock service by front desk (no need to buzz in) ... Romantic, quaint, calming, quiet, warming, wonderfully small (only 10 rooms), wonderful and professional staff, you have all the amenities and professional services (such as being able to walk in at any hour and have someone available at the front desk to provide your key to your room) of a hotel but the atmosphere of a warm and welcoming place that almost feels like your own. A must place to stay and experience in Paris. Don't waste your money on grande hotels just to say you did it and wouldn't provide anymore than you would receive at Les Rives. Very comfortable, feel assured that you will not be ripped off, very forthright, very honest property which we valued a great deal in such a large city. Excellent location! Within walking distance of all the major sites of Paris. Metro, RER, all right there if required.

We checked in very early, and the room was ready - so that was great. ... The rooms are a bit tight, and the hotel was smaller than I expected. It was also on a very busy street - which was not explained in the website. ... I felt that it was a bit expensive and the breakfast was very expensive. I was not expecting to have to pay extra for the breakfast, as I thought it was included in the price. I read the email with the pricing in a different way than was intended. ... Fruit basket to room was nice touch. ... Good location near Notre-Dame, cute rooms, helpful and friendly staff.

Rooms not too spacious. Breakfast to be improved considering related cost.
... A beautiful stay in a family hotel: web page must clearer reflect that spaces are quite restricted.

Feels like a reputable website, vouchers etc came through quickly, hotel as expected, service very good ... Breakfast could be better - real french croissants would have been nice, cooked options too.
Towels in rooms rather worn some of them - would have expected newer, fluffy towels for the standard of the hotel. Robes and slippers very welcome ... very central hotel, so expect a high room rate but towels, breakfast etc not worth £230 per day ... Beautifully decorated, very comforatble, excellent location, nice and small and personal, very quiet despite busy road

The room was fine, but not spacious. It would have been helpful to have had a dresser in the room in which we could place some of our clothes. The housekeeping was excellent! Efficient, quiet, unobtrusive, and rooms were spotless. Breakfast was nice and charming, but the cost was excessive; it would be best to include in the room rate (which is what I thought it was from the description I received) ... Wonderful location and service; a bit pricey, but probably expected for this location.

The reception was polite, but cold -- and unlike any of our other expeiences during this visit to France (which included hotel stays in Toulouse, Limoges, Avranches.
Things got better but initially it was frustrating. ... It was a beautiful room, albeit too small for four people. And the view of the Parthenon was lacking - however, the Seine and Notre-Dame more than made up for that.
It was beautifully cleaned and decorated. ... Compared to elsewhere in France, it's not good value for the money. However, I recognize that Paris is much more expensive. ... An ideal location and view; however, very expensive.
