The boutique Hotel du Parc Saint Charles is located in a quiet street, and features a cozy green front, with window doors and some bushes. Inside, there's a reception with a 24 hour front desk with French-English speaking kind personnel, offering different services such as currency exchange, shoe polishing, safety box, laundry and valet, computer rental and business services, babysitting, airport shuttle, and city guide. There's no elevator on the Hotel, but rooms are connected through the staircase. |
The reception is luminous and modernly decorated with white walls with contemporary paintings, and a white counter. There are free souvenir chocolates at the front desk of the Hotel, go guests could grab some and deal with a last minute temptation! Guests would also receive a free city map with the best tourist spots to visit. The friendly staff would be pleased to help you with tourism advices as well. There's also a luggage room, perfect for those guests who would like to leave their suitcases for a while after checking out. |
The TV lounge is perfect for sitting and relaxing, watching some TV, chatting or reading the complimentary newspapers that the Hotel offers to guests. The Hotel's garden is very nice for having some fresh air during summer. The continental breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. during the weekend. Expect coffee, tea, milk, juices and French bakery as croissants or rolls. |
The Breakfast room has light yellow walls that contrast with the dark fitted carpet. Contemporary paintings adorn the walls. The wooden square tables and wooden chairs host four people. The ambient is bright due to the ample windows with white curtains. Breakfast can also be served in the bedrooms, upon request. The Hotel hosts a Bar with a wooden counter and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for having a drink in the afternoon, choosing from the different cocktail options that they offer. |
The hotel doesn't have a Restaurant, but provides a gastronomic room service in partnership with La Dinée restaurant, located next door. Guests can leave their car in a public parking located in front of the property. Credit cards are accepted (Diners Club, Master Card, American Express and Visa) and groups are more than welcome. The check in time is at 12 noon, as well as the check out. |

The Hotel du Parc Saint Charles in located in the city center of the fabulous Paris. Guests would find plenty of activities to do nearby, and lots of things to discover the city. The building is at few steps from the green Parc André Citroën, which is perfect for a morning or afternoon refreshing walk or run. The Hotel is very close to the Balard subway station. The neighborhood has a lovely street, Rue Balard, that has all sorts of restaurants and shops. The gourmet restaurant situated practically next door is called "La Dinée". Try a wonderful dining experience and they even offer room service! The hotel is located near the Parc des Expositions, the Palais des Sports, the Aquaboulevard (Aquatic parc), Canal+ and France Television (French TV). It's also close to the Ponant of Paris and the new European hospital Georges Pompidou. The historical and famous Porte de Versailles with the exhibition and convention center is also located nearby (at 400 meters). Paris cultural life is also on hand. The outstanding and famous Louvre Museum is a great attraction of the city, that also hosts other nice museums as the Pompidou Center. The outstanding and famous Rodin Museum is located very near, exhibiting the best paintings of this French artist. Montmartre neighborhood and Sacre Coeur Cathedral are also well worth it. Also, the majestic Tour Eiffel is near, as well as Champs de Mars and Champs Elysées, other major symbols of the city. Built for the 1889 Exposition Universelle (World Fair), the Eiffel tower was held to commemorate the centennial of the Revolution. Visiting is well worth it. When you're done peering upward through the girders, three levels are open to tourists. There are elevators to the top too. Champs Elysees Avenue and the beautiful Arc de Triomphe (Arch of Triumph) are also accessible and very recommended for an historic visit, a nice walk, and a shopping experience. The Arc de Triomphe is the world's largest traffic roundabout and the meeting point of 12 avenues. Commissioned in 1806 by Napoleon to commemorate his imperial victories, it was completed in 1836. From the viewing platform at the top (284 steps up), you can see the avenues - many named after illustrious generals - glowing toward every branch of Paris. Since 1920, the body of an unknown soldier from World War I was taken from Verdun in Lorraine and lies beneath the arch. His fate and that of countless others like him commemorated by a memorial flame rekindled each evening. Avenue des Champs-Élysées is perfect for shopping and walking relaxed all through it, stopping by at a Café, to taste a French coffee with croissants. |
