Only one person spoke English at the hotel. This may have been due to hiring problems as the one person spent long hours at the reception desk. This was not a problem as I speak some French, but may prove difficult for other tourists. ... This is a very French hotel. Do not expect an American-style hotel. Expect to have to speak some French. It is comfortable and convenient with relatively large rooms for Paris.
