The room was too small, but besides, everything was excellent. ... I'll recommend it.

It's a pity that we got a room on the 1st floor with a much lower ceiling then the rooms on other floors. The closet is much too small for 2 persons. What I appreciate most about the room is that the bathroom is very clean.

The room was much smaller than expected but this is perhaps due to this being our first rip abroad. I am accustomed to American Hotel/Motel rooms and they are considerably larger.

The room was clean, nicely furnished, and even featured original artwork. Very comfortable and quiet, even though we were just up one flight. I also appreciated the complementary newspapers available in the lobby in both French and English. ... As advertised, the hotel is just across from a station entrance (Luxembourg - rue de L'Abbe de L'Epee)) to an RER line that takes you directly to the Charles de Gaulle airport. However, that entrance just has coin-operated ticket dispensers, and we only had paper currency on us. So we had to walk an extra couple blocks to the north entrance to the station where there's a staffed ticket window. It's not a reflection on the hotel, just a helpful traveling tip. ... It's a welcoming, convenient, and restful hotel close to one of the most beautiful spots in Paris, the Luxembourg Gardens.

They weren't terribly well prepared for a Sunday checkout, with only one inexperienced member of staff at the desk. However she coped admirably in difficult circumstances. ... The cafe is closed on Sunday mornings, inconvenient if you wanted to take the 8 euro breakfast, as it leaves you with the 13 euro option in the breakfast room only. However, with plenty of other options a short walk away the inconvenience is minimal. ... Really sweet little hotel in a quiet area with great access to the centre on foot or by public transport, within easy reach of the nighlife of the latin quarter. Comfortable and welcoming.

Wireless internet not available in my room and also over-priced. Typical prices in the US (e.g. T-mobile) are $10/24 hours, which I would have been willing to pay, but ~$25/day is too much. ... The view from the 5th floor was nice, the room was clean and well maintained, and the staff friendly/helpful. While its the smallest hotel room I have had in Paris, the hotel was among the more pleasant overall. I also very much appreciated having a non-smoking room.

We found the hotel very nice, room was decorated nicely and the reception very helpful. Le Luco Bistro is loveley with pleasant staff and good food. Very much enjoyed our complimentary champagne and dinner! Our room overlooked a private garden and was very quiet. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and had everything we required. ... As mentioned before, the room was clean, quiet and private but not spacious, but that did not give us any reason to complain or ask for another room. ... We were not made aware that there was a breakfast room for residents only, but only needed to use it on Sunday and we preferred to use Le Luco as the staff were more pleasant. ... Explain that Le Luco is closed on Sunday. Explain that rooms over Boulevard St Michel are noisey but quiet rooms are available overlooking a private garden. ... Ideal location, bus and metro immediately outside hotel, l'Opentour bus 5 minutes walk, Luxembourg garden accross the road. Although hotel is not in the centre of Paris, it's 3 bus stops from the Seine and Notre Dame and a large selection of good but reasonably priced restaurants.

Simple to use and easy to understand ... Quick and efficient ... No problems with the Hotel - only the transport strike ... Having booked 3 deluxe rooms for the same week, we noticed that some were nicer than others.
When coffee or tea facilites were used in the rooms, the coffee and tea was not replaced. ... Check out was fine for us leaving at midday. It may be less easy later in the day. ... The breakfast was simple but very nice. However, the later arrivals (after 8.30am) may not have had the full choice that earlier guests had. ... Quick, easy and efficient. ... Very handy for the RER, good local restaurants, good proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens and within a short walk of the St Germain night life.

We arrived at the hotel very early in the morning and although check-in time was after 12:00pm we were able to check-in early.
I would also like to mention we arrived via Paris Shuttle, which I would highly recommend, www.parishuttle.com.
... Our hotel stay was excellent! The room, although small, was very clean. We found the staff to be very kind and helpful.
... Our check-out only took a few minutes and there were no surprises or hidden charges.
... I would not change a thing. ... The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the Norte Dame, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the Metro. There is great shopping and restaurants just down the street on St. Michel. The hotel, which is much smaller than you would normally find in the United States, is very cozy and well decorated. Our room was small but clean and adequate for our 4 night stay. It is not luxurious but perfect for the person who is looking to enjoy the city of Paris while having a clean and safe place to temporarily call home. We thought it was very charming...I loved every minute of it!

The reception desk was very welcoming upon our arrival and prompt in seeing us to our room. ... My wife and I were very impressed with the staff at the Hotel Luxembourg. They were very polite, professional and generous with their time. The room was beautiful and the chambermaid was very courteous. ... Accomodating; quiet; centrally located; courteous, informative and efficient staff

We would have appreciated knowing that the room we were getting for the agreed price was tiny, in which we could hardly move around, and that the Hotel had larger standard rooms, for a higher price, which we would have preferred. Otherwise, everything was super. Thanks. Michael Antin ... See comments above. ... The room size was tiny, which we did not expect. We would have liked more room, and would have paid for the increased size, but we didn't know or discover that information until after our arrival.

We felt very welcome. The Receptionist was polite, friendly and efficient. We were given all necessary information without having to ask. ... The Receptionists were brilliant at all times - friendly, welcoming, efficient, informative, interested, courteous and fluent English-speaking. There were complimentary British and American newspapers at Reception and a pleasant lounge in which to sit and read them.
Our room was smallish but nice and comfortable. Window was double glazed UPVC which was nice open and kept all noise out closed. A heavy-framed original oil painting of Notre Dame made a pleasant surprise as hotel wall decor. The bathroom was beautiful marble and the shower superb.
Maid service was excellent, efficient, unobtrusive and friendly. ... We booked an airport taxi through Recption and it arrived on time. All aspects of check-out were efficient and carried out in a friendly, helpful manner. ... Website information was very accurate and comprehensive. ... Excellent in all respects.

When we arrived,I inquired about the bed and breakfast package. The clerk stated that we didn't purchase that package. After showing him my voucher, that showed the bed and breakfast package, he told me he would check into it. Later that afternoon, he informed me that everything was taken care. We had a great stay. ... The food in the restaurant is pricey. Anyone planning to eat breakfast, at the hotel, should purchase the bed and breakfast package. ... Clean, friendly and very helpful staff, rooms are somewhat small.

Cozy and clean. Convenient location. There's many internet cafe nearby. Value for money with the same category comparison. ... one small problem was they don't accept EUR 500 note even though my total bill was 288. I'd been asked to go to the bank nearby to get the change first then go back to check out which took me 30 minutes. ... Tooth paste and tooth brush are not available. Better indicate in the misc so that Asian like me would bring our own stuff. ... Recommended if you get a good rate (mine is EUR 95 per night.

While all of the staff was helpful, the staff at the front desk during the day were not nearly as helpful or polite as the staff during the evening. The buffet breakfast is not worth the extra 13 Euro. ... The hotel is in an excellent location. There is a Metro stop on the block next to the hotel. It is within walking distance of some really good sights and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

The rooms were smaller than expected, at least the one we got. I think it was one of the smallest room in the hotel. For 152 euros I would expect a larger room. ... The traffic is disturbing, there are not soundproof windows in all rooms. Breakfast is okey. ... A quite well located hotel, a bit pricy and noisy because of the traffic on blv. st Michel. Small rooms. Good breakfast.

The room was tiny compared to the one they show on their brochure.. ... Staff was very helpful getting us a cab, etc to the airport. ... I received the voucher for the room cost , however, it listed breakfast listed at 13 Euros but it was not clear that we would be charged that whether or not we ate there. It simply looked like they were telling us the cost. We did not eat there and were charged over 70 dollars for breakfast. The advertising was deceiving. ... It was in a good part of Paris, helpful staff and a tiny room.

There was a very annoying banging noise like somebody was using a hammer on a wall from 7am to 9am on the Saturday morning. I asked at the reception what the story was but she said it was next door. Having taken the stairs down from our room I noticed somebody was working on one of the rooms just underneath us and that in fact was where the noise was coming from. She did not acknowledge this at any stage of our departure.
