Facilities within the Hotel

The Montalembert's public rooms include a spacious and elegant lobby, which flows into a café/bar, as well as an adjacent library and lounge with a wood-burning fireplace. In keeping with Liaigre's celebrated design sensibility, the furnishings here are gorgeously fashioned of marble, sycamore, and oak.

The café, with wood paneling and the recurring Godeaut photographs has an intimate atmosphere and innovative food. It has become a gathering place for artists and writers who are visitors to France as well as native Parisians. In the summer the Montalembert offers dining on its sidewalk terrace.

There is 24-hour room service at the hotel and we offer a luxurious weekend package which includes an elegant continental breakfast.

Hotel Montalembert's Chef Frédéric Deswarte offers an enticing and light menu. Service is available throughout the day, from a traditional breakfast of café au lait, delicious melt-in-the-mouth croissant and brioche, to an innovative lunch and supper menu, with emphasis on simplicity and freshness.

Facilities outside the Hotel

Located in the fashionable 7th arrondissement, the Montalembert is just a short stroll along the Boulevard St-Germain from two of the capital's legendary cafés: Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, where you can dine in the shadows of Sartre and de Beauvoir. Also within easy walking distance are the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, such famous galleries and antique dealers as Adrien Maeght and Mellier, and some of the best designer boutiques in Paris, including Sonia Rykiel, Missoni, Kenzo and thierry Mugler.
