The staff at the Modern Hotel was very
friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our
stay. The rooms were small, but very clean
and cute. The neighborhood is fine. The
hotel itself is super easy to find from
public transportation and is central to most
metro lines. I would definitely recommend
this hotel to any of my friends.

We were asked to pay the full amount upon arrival which is not as stated on the voucher.

The room doors are very loud when closing them. Perhaps some rubber trim on the inside of the door jamb would make it quieter.

Efficient, small rooms. Excellent breakfast served by a friendly staff. Close to several metro stops and a pleasant walk to the Place de la Bastille. Internet access a few steps from the hotel.

Very friendly, especially Thierry, who cheerfully served us breakfast every morning. Neighborhood feel with a number of local shops to buy food and wine.
If you like walking, Ledru Rollin has many shops and Place Leon Blum has several excellent charcuteries, patisseries and boulangeries.

Perhaps it was the room I was in but it was a downgrade from the images on the website. That being said, however, the room & property itself were not bad. It was at a very convenient location. And the staff was moderate, service-wise, with the exception of the young staff member who checked me in. He was always helpful & very friendly.

Small but comfortable. If you're looking for value, it's a good deal. Don't expect luxury accomodations.

There was a kind of renovation during my stay, there was not enough place to get breakfast. So we and other person had to wait until other ones finished and left the room
