Housed in a wonderful 19th-century building, the Hôtel La Manufacture is one of the most pleasant hotels in the capital. The hotel was bought up just over a year ago by three very, dynamic women who gave the Hôtel La Manufacture a much needed facelift. Walls were knocked down, lifts integrated, air-conditioning installed and a brand-new plumbing system installed. |
The creative minds responsible for the soft, natural colours and the careful attention to detail are part owner Bobette Compagnon, and a former colleague of the well-known British designer David Hicks With oak floorboards, lamps especially-made in Spain, a collection of brightly-coloured paintings by local artist Alberto Cont, wicker chairs, cotton rugs, wooden furniture and baskets of flowers, Hôtel La Manufacture really is a feast for the eyes. |
