 A Family Story
Françoise Baverez, the actual President of REGINA S.A., comes from a family of hoteliers. Her grand-father, Constant Baverez, was the owner of the hotel de La Poste in Besançon. Coming to Paris, he entered into partnership with Léonard Tauber and together, they created the hotel Regina and, afterwards, in 1907, the Hotel Majestic, 19 Avenue Kléber, which was, at that time, one of the biggest hotels in Paris, with a private bath room to each room. Finally, in 1925, they built the very selective hotel Raphael. |
 After the deaths of both partners, Dr. Paul Baverez took over the management of the Co. and, his daughter, Françoise succeeded him. In 1964, Françoise Baverez took up the management of this small unit where she freely expressed her ideas of hospitality and comfort. In 1981, she was appointed President of both the REGINA and Majestic hotels and in 1985 the Raphael hotel. With the assistance of a dynamic sales team, Françoise Baverez manages the three hotels with a firm hold, following a professional ethic which is the symbol of the French hotel industry: hospitality and discretion are the key words, which makes the three hotels more attractive and appreciated by all guests. |
