The rooms were incredibly hot, I found it very difficult to sleep even when I had managed to turn the radiator off - and the air conditioning was too loud to keep on overnight.

A decent enough hotel in a nice location, however the rooms were not particularly spacious for the cost and were uncomfortably hot.

The hotel worked out perfectly. We arrived
very early on a Sunday morning from the US
and we had a business meeting at noon. The
receptionist and staff went out of their way
to get a room ready for us so that we could
shower catch a nap before our meeting. We
will definitely be going back to Hotel Saint
Bastille.

The property, including the room, was smaller than it appeared on the web site.
At the desk we were told that breakfast would start at 7:00 am. It actually started at 7:30. There could have been a larger selection at the breakfast. It was juice, rolls and coffee. There was no cheese offered.

Typical Paris hotel, well located, friendly service, clean and adequate room. Not the cheapest (for that I assume one would have to travel much farther from the heart of the city)

There was a lot of early morning noise coming from the water system which should have been avoided - particularly for weekend stays.

Paying extra for breakfast was a surprise since we had assumed that this was included in the price of the room. This should have been made clearer at breakfast - we may have decided not to have taken it, had we known.

Room was smelling from cigarette smoke. Staff was not helpful in trying to arrange for a different room.

Staff was very freindly and the breakfast was good, especially for the overall cost of the stay.
The hotel is very close to the metro but was not as close to the core sites as we had hoped.
With that said, the overall stay was very good, the room was excellent and the staff very helpful.

Decent value - small, clean, nicely decorated rooms, nice breakfast included, conveniently located near metro. Reception not very friendly or helpful. I would still consider staying there again.

There was a big whole in one of my towels, using the door was a bit confusing. I didn't like that the lights weren't on in the hallways when I arrived. I understand it was late 23:30, but my hands were full of luggage which made it difficult to flip the switches on. Also when I got in my room it was dark and instead of just flipping the light switch on, I had to feel around the walls to find the slot to put the card in to turn the lights on. That was a pain because I was exhausted at that point.

Walls were thin as paper I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, coughing, sneezing, etc...Not too big but enough for one person and mostly private. I also think that if I am going to spend 160 Euros on a room, you can give me wireless internet for free.

Staff at desk couldn't change the paper in the credit card reader at checkout, it took about 15 minutes.

We thought the rooms were beautifully
renovated and decorated. Mine was on a low
floor and faced the street/market so it was
noisy (no fault of the hotel) but was very
comfortable.

anyone interested in being near the Bastille

Hotel are currently carrying out work on their air conditioning between 9am - 5pm. This did not affect our very pleasant stay, however we felt that it would have been good to have known of this prior to our stay.

Very nicely renovated. Friendly and helpful staff. A good base for a sightseeing trip. Would definitely stay again.

We've been compensated and pay only for two nights instead of 3 as the heat didn't work.

The rate was too expensive for an hotel with one miniature elevator to which you have to wait forever, miniature TV and for an hotel located so far from everything.

As a decent hotel for 50-60 euros a night.

We were very disapointed that the receptionist couldnīt order my husband a taxi when he left.
He hadnīt been able to order us a taxi the night before when we were going out to dinner.
