The hotel reception was very cordial -- made my wife and me feel welcome, despite a fairly difficult time finding the hotel because of the odd one-way street configurations in the neighborhood. ... The terrace was an absolute delight. And when I e-mailed the hotel to inquire if a one-day earlier arrival was possible, the hotel was extremely accommodating and friendly. We had a delightful stay. ... The process went much more smoothly and quickly than I anticipated. We needed to drive our car to the airport and exceptionally clear driving instructions were provided by the hotel staff. ... Actually, the hotel is almost exactly the way it was described on your Web site. ... It is a small, very friendly, almost neighborly hotel and staff; the room, while not spacious, was very comfortable, well decorated and clean, with a charming and very well-kept terrace that was totally private and enjoyable day and night; the hotel had a perfect location, within walking distance of great small shops and a Metro station 50 yards from the hotel entrance. Our only hesitancy in unreservedly recommending to anyone to book and stay at this hotel is that we have had no other hotel experiences in Paris and thus have no basis for comparison. This hotel (Le Saint Gregoire) was certainly a safe and welcome find in our first Internet booking experience.

THE RECEPTIONIST EXPECTED ME AND EVERYTHING WAS ORGANISED AND READY FOR MY ARRIVAL. ... MY HOTEL ROOM WAS LOVELY AND VERY CLEAN. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY HELPFUL AND EFFICIENT. I THOUGHT IT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE AS THE PRICE DID NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST BUT THIS WAS THE ONLY NEGATIVE. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. ... VERY CENTRAL. VERY CLEAN AND STAFF VERY EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL.

We were very happy during our stay at the Hotel Le Saint-Gregoire. Possibly the only suggestions might be an overhead shower fitting instead of a handshower for ease of bathing, an iron and ironing board in the room to save having to go to the laundry each time and a small selection of fruit at breakfast would be nice. ... Elegant Parisian hotel located in a quiet location close to the Metro and Luxembourg Gardens. Spacious junior suite with 3 comfortable beds looking onto delightful private courtyard garden. Very helpful staff.

Hotel was shockingly overpriced, even by paris standards. will stay in the holiday inn which is directly opposite next time. ... it's tiny! sells itself as something of a boutique hotel. it's just a small hotel

only problem was with the phones (internal hotel calls didn't seem to work), but it was so minor that we didn't trouble the staff with it ... beautiful, made for pleasant relaxation, perfect if you want Paris for a time

The hotel looked larger on line. In particular the rooms and lounge looked much larger on line. The property was very nice but not as grand as expected.
We stayed in two rooms. The first was on the first floor and didn't have much light. The second room on floor #2 was much nicer. ... None. ... A small boutique hotel with a cozy feel. Rooms are a bit larger than those you would get at a 3 star hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful neighbourhood.

the breakfast room was rather claustrophobic a minibar in the room (not promised by your website) could have been nice ... the breakfast room is very small; no buffet breakfast; no minibar; the only advantage of 4 stars is the size of the room
very good location : lots of brasseries etc. ... quiet, clean and well located. better have breakfast in your room. 4 stars means a bigger room than a 3 star-hotel, and some more 'authentic furniture'. Some years ago, a 3 starhotel offered more services (buffet breakfast, safe,...) for a lesser price.
