An elegant and very friendly hotel right in the heart of the Marais. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had a most enjoyable stay.

I did complain about noise from room next door at 1pm. Nothing was done about it.

It was a nice small hotel in the centre of Paris - very convenient for getting to most places. I would stay there again.

We had an incedent on the RER prior to arrival and were in need of a hospital. The receptionist took our bags and gave us directions to the nearest hospital...Thanks!

I loved this hotel. I imagine I've stayed in six or more different hotels in Paris over the years, and this is my favorite place. It's reasonable; it's historic; for a Paris hotel, the rooms are sizeable enough; the location was great; the reception very personable. No complaints, only praises.

lovely beamed ceilings (at least in the rooms I saw) and nice features like canopied beds that went with the historicity of the place nicely. a computer on premises for open use, which was helpful. I didn't take breakfast, so have no comments on that, but there are wonderful bakeries and cafes around every corner.

A corner of the lobby roof covering was drooping for approx 4 days; not the hotel's fault as I understand that it was the result of repairs to an adjoining building, but odd to look at and stayed that way for a number of days.

Having stayed in the Marais before, we know the area is very busy and a bit noisey well into the night. We like that energy and it's one of the reasons we stay in the area, but some folks might be put off by the level of activity on the street.

Charming, attractive hotel in a great area. Room was larger than expected for Europe and had french windows on two sides - an unexpected and welcome plus; particularly during a French heatwave. Large windows in the bathroom as well. Exposed beams and bright color scheme; all in all exactly what we were after.

Room was not ready in the morning, but this is to be expected, and it was ready by midday, as promised. Staff helpful, and easy to store luggage until the room was ready.

Staff very helpful on restaurant recommendations and in general. Very much appreciated the free internet access in the cosy and comfortable lobby. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had character.

I would have preferred an actual shower in the bathroom to just a bathtub, and the room was tiny, but it was quaint and clean and nicely decorated and in a great location. I would definitely recommend it, although the lack of air conditioning would deter me from summer traveling, especially since it is on a loud street if you had to keep your windows open.

There is only one aspect that I didn't like: apparently the hotel has no control over the left-luggage office.
After paying the accommodation we decided to keep our lugagge in the hotel until the time to go to the airport. To our surprise the staff gave us the key for the left-luggage office so that we could leave ourselves the luggage in the office but without any control about how many bags we left. When we came back to pick them up the staff gave us again the key, we took our luggage and nothing happened but again the staff didn't checked out if the bags we were taking were ours or not. In the office there were many bags so we could have been wrong taking them or someone in our same situation could have been wrong too.
Though as I said, eventually nothing happened.

It's a nice hotel with a perfect location. The staff is very kind and the rooms are clean. I would recomend it to any friend.
