This is a wonderful hotel! The staff is courteous and the hotel is conveniently located near Rue Cler and metro. The street is tree lined and has a very relaxing pace. Extra thick window glass makes the room very quiet. I will make this hotel my home away from home whenever I am in Paris. ... Rooms have been remodeled, flat screen TV. ... A very nice hotel - French enough to not be considered 'American-like' but with very nice appointments.

It was wonderful to see again everyone who had made our previous stays at the Bourdonnais such joyous times. And we thank them again for the beautiful bouquet waiting for us in our room -- the icing on the cake! ... We're repeat visitors, happy to report that this year's stay was every bit as wonderful as all our previous ones. ... The option to use my debit card smoothed the way -- made all the difference in the world. ... I didn't notice whether or not it says that breakfast is a separate charge (I forget when it changed from included in the room charge, when we'd have breakfast there every day), 10E per person, and that it's self-service. I wish it weren't. ... Lovely, with charming people, and excellently situated for convenience with transportation. (This may be the second time(at the very least) you're receiving this; every time I clicked on 'submit' before, I got a message that question 9 hadn't been selected, but I DID respond to that.) Where would the review be published?

This was the best of three hotel stays while we were in London & Paris (...including a Hilton which messed up our reservations. Rather than 3 double rooms for 6 people, they gave us 1 double room and 4 single rooms. We were trying to share travel supplies, so this was very inconvenient.)
One room even had a view of the Eiffel Tower! ... We paid a bit more than would have otherwise to be walking distance of Eiffel Tower. ... Nice, but not elaborate, historic hotel. Our family had two rooms - neither felt cramped, even one with five people (2 double beds & sleeper sofa). Good-sized, clean bathrooms with counter space. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower which was fabulous after dark.

We asked for room with view of Eiffel tower but got no reply - we were so pleased and excited when we got there and discovered there was a view. Thank you so much. ... Fabulous location, amazing view of Eiffel Tower. Traditional french style room. Nearby restaurants very expensive. Struggled to find French restaurant - mainly other types such as Italian, Thai and Japanese. ... An ideal place to stay if you want to be located near the sights, extremely clean hotel and room was excellent but be prepared to travel further afield to get good value when eating out.

The reception staff was extremely helpful to all three of us on the reservation, as we all arrived at different times via different modes, and we all called with questions. ... The room was big enough to accommodate three adults comfortably, just as advertised. Bathroom was huge with enough counter space for all. The reception staff helped with computers, reservations, excellent restaurant recommendations, and transportation. Perfect location, as well -- close enough to walk to many things, and on metro and bus lines. ... Again, staff was helpful and offered to hold our bags from checkout time until we needed to leave for our trains. I will stay at the Hotel la Bourdannais in the future. ... Exceptionally helpful staff; terrific location with easy access to metro and bus lines. ... Very convenient location for tourist sites and great options for meals; clean and comfortable with larger-than-expected rooms. Great staff who seem to enjoy helping visitors.

the elevator (lift) is tiny but taking the stairs is not a hardship as long as you are without luggage.
The location is excellent in a quiet but centrally located neigbourhood. The family room we had, which could sleep 4, was very large and very comfortable, such a room is very hard to find in major cities, certainly in Europe. There were a couple of places where the recent trenovations work hadn't been finished but these were purely cosmetic and didn't detract from the excellant value for money. ... A great hotel for a family vacation.

The location was terrific and the accommadations for 9 adults was great. ... We'd requested parking for two cars, but only parking for one car was available. It was possible to work this out after we arrived, but took more time than we expected. It was not possible to park on the street, but the parking lot at the corner was good. ... Nice accommodations, very clean, excellent location, good breakfast.
