plugs and waste fittings to basin and shower would be welcome. Anybody 6 feet tall or more needs to sit sideways on toilet bowl as the wall is very close. Sheets and towels changed daily and general cleanliness a real plus. ... Fantastic Location. You are only there to wash and sleep. The staff are always helpful and polite.

The front desk staff was extremely nice and very helpful throughout our entire stay. They were always polite and smiling which made the stay more enjoyable. ... Our hotel room had a lot of storage space, even though the room itself was small, there was a large closet with hanging space and many shelves which allowed us to unpack all of our belongings rather than try to live out of our suitcases. ... A good budget hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and nice rooms for the money.

Bathroom/toilet very, very cramped, small and basic. Building maintenance needs attention.

The room was clean and warm on a very cold stay. The carpet up the stairs was dangerous. The position of the hotel in Paris was great. The receptionist was not very helpfull and tended to be miserable. ... The shower worked well, the beds were comfortable. ... The hotel wqas rough round the edges but was in a great poistion within Paris.

To improve the stay, I will like to recommend that the Hotel change the Bed clothing for New ones, because the ones we had seem to clean but Old, so I think the customer will appreciate those details in future arrivals to the Hotel Saint Honore
Thank You ... Excellent Location, Mini markets availability near the Hotel! ... It satisfied our most Basic needs plus an excellent location!

If the directions had named the exit Les Halles Forum from the metro, that would have been more clear. ... The hotel's public internet was down, but I was given directions for a close internet cafe. The location was perfect; exactly as described. The bathroom was a little funky-smelling, but the bed was VERY comfortable. I slept like a baby in the heart of Paris. Thank you for your web site; it found me a great, inexpensive place to stay. ... So, so easy and fast. ... No. I would say to other women traveling alone, though, that I felt perfectly safe at my hotel. ... I would say that the price is right, the location is perfect, and the staff is very friendly. It's smallish, of course, but overall great value.

Clearer directions from the train station would be nice ... the exit/rue needed was not displayed inside the station. ... Relatively inexpensive, large enough room, within walking distance to attractions and transportation. Perhaps ask for a room off Rue St. Honore as it would be quieter.

The Chateau des Halles was a little scarey in terms of size. Once we were out of the station we had no trouble finding the hotel. ... The hotel is in an excellent location. But it is in a very bad need of some attention. Mainly cosmetic like paint, carpets, new mattresses, etc. ... We read reviews of the hotel on Tripadvisor.com, so we weren't completely surprised by the condition of the hotel. If it wasn't for the excellent location of the hotel we would not have stayed there. ... I would tell them if they were looking for a place that is close to everything and you don't care to much about the room, then St Honore is the place for you.

It took us an hour to find parking. The hotel's directions to the parking house was very unclear because there were no written directions. It cost us Euro 155 to park our van for 3 days. ... The hotel is in very poor condition. Even the lobby furniture was tattered and not at all appropriate for a public lobby. The carpets need to be replaced. This tells me someone does not take pride in keeping the property well maintained. ... The severe shortage of parking ... If you are value conscious and don't care about the cleanliness or disrepair of this hotel then 'go for it.' Location is great. If you want a clean well-kept hotel, this is not the place for you.

Dear Sirs,
additional I would like to add that during our stay in Paris (3 days) we were not able to take a shower due to the terrible conditions in the bathroom of room 380. ... Good location but be prepared not to have a shower for the time of your stay (maybe if you are unlucky to get room 380).

We are pretty easy going travelers, so this wasn't a big deal. But we had booked two double rooms. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk said that we were going to be in a quad that night, and he would switch us to two separate rooms the following day. It was an added stress that we didn't need. And even though we were told to leave our bags in the room and the staff would carry them up to our new rooms, this was not done. So we ended up having to carry our luggage up five flights of stairs. Again, not a huge deal. But it wasn't what we expected. ... I say that it was worse than we expected, but it was still a decent place to stay. It was in a good location. And while it wasn't the cleanest place we've ever stayed in, it served its purpose. ... It's a small, somewhat shabby hotel with tiny rooms that are 'clean enough'. It's in a fairly decent location, so you have access to the Metro nearby, and it was within a short walk of the Louvre.

We got at the hotel early so our room wasn't ready for us, which is understandable, but we had to leave our luggage in an area that wasn't locked and that anyone could access. ... The location of the hotel was really good, but other than that it wasn't that great. There was mold growing on the wall, and it was really noisy at night. ... I wouldn't recommend this place for a friend. It has a great location but other than that is wasn't good.

Poor valiue - tiny, not partiulalrly clean, bu fantastic position
