I typically will book a low budget type of hotel as long as it appears and maintains a level of cleanliness. This is a small hotel and a place to hang my hat at the end of the day. We were there to see Paris not the hotel room. In some respects, due to the age of the building and location - we would rate it as quaint and cozy. It was functional and we were pleased. We would come back.
