The additional bed in our room was awful and one person actually slept on the mattress placed on the floor for 2 nights. It was not until our last night that they brought up a better bed that had a real mattress. We did not know that they could have a bigger/better bed that they could roll into the room. They should just get rid of the small/awful roll-in bed altogether. ... The room by French standards was ok in size but small by American standards but it was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice. ... Please get rid of the awful roll-in bed that is too metal like and hard to sleep on. ... Yes. It was nice, the staff pleasant, and the breakfast wonderful.

Peggy made us feel welcome as we entered. That feeling persisted throughout our stay. Most attentive staff of any hotel in which we have stayed throughout Europe and the US. ... Simply an incredible experience. This was our first visit to Paris and on future trips, there is no doubt that our 'home' in Paris will be Hotel Le Tourville. ... Many extras for which I thought we would pay were included in the price of the lodging. ... Stress the following: 1. Convenience of the location, 2. Spaciousness of accomodations, 3. Room had a 'homey' feel, light and airy, Grohe plumbing fixtures in shower as nice as our home, 3. Extremely helpful nature of the staff ... As the ONLY place to stay in Paris were one looking for excellence with value.

Everyone was gracious and helpful. Allowed us to check in early once room was cleaned. Brought our bags up to the room for us. ... Room was not spacious but was very charming. We loved the very large bath towels provided daily. ... Thought the breakfast was a bit pricey for 12 euros, but really liked the yogurt in glass bottles. ... Small room but very charming...really feel that you are in Paris. The staff is very gracious and helpful.

It was a wonderfully charming hotel whose caretakers were very helpful and very friendly. The voucher I received, however, stated a reservation for a room with a balcony (one of only four)but I was not given one. (Apparently, there was a mixup.) No matter, truly, this place was a gem and I would recommend it to friends. ... Great location-- we walked and/or metro'd everywhere! ... Great sheets, comfy beds. Quiet-- surprisingly so. We slept like babies.

Very helpful and had room ready upon early arrival. There was a problem with the airconditioner but they had a fan and offered another room if needed. ... We enjoyed our stay completely. Great location and the staff was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions in the area. ... They recommended an excellent limo service to the airport. ... Excellent location, friendly staff. and great value for the money. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Very good! ... Hotel Le Tourville is a delightful and charming hotel in a great location. A few minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, Rodin Museum and several cafes and bars. The room was small but very nice. The staff was accomodating and polite. This is a great place to stay for a first timer in Paris!

The entire process of booking three rooms for a family on-line worked very well. They put us all on one floor. The staff was responsive, polite and very helpful.
The other four-star hotles that responded to my original inquiry also seemed very helpful. You provide a good service. ... Charming hotel with friendly, accomodating staff. Superior rooms are best for two people. Quiet location. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the rooms lovely and comfortable. I will definitely be back! ... The only mis-leading service advertised was wireless service. A hotel of this class should provide free service, at least in the lobby. ... That wireless is available at a charge ... Fantastic!

I did not notice on your site, but we were expecting a small refrigerator, as most hotels in Paris provide. ... Although a lovely hotel, I am not sure it rates 4 stars (but certainly 3 stars). ... A shower door or curtain!! ... Quaint, smallish rooms, very friendly staff.

I had emailed prior to booking about our needs. We aere a family of four. They suggested the suite. Yet, we learned of the two adjoining rooms inwhich the hall door could be locked off. This was more suitable to our needs. We were disappointed to heve not been told of this during booking. The suite, is nice but not suitable for a family. ... see above comments ... see first comment ... Pleasant, friendly staff, nice location

I was under the impression the room was spacious, but it was not. ... fabulous location, polite, caring staff, but a bit on the expensive side for what you recieve.

The staff was always very helpful and accomodating. The room was beautiful and the hotel's location could not have been better. ... Le Tourville is a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious with an attached private patio. It was beautifully decorated and furnished.
The location of the hotel was very convenient to two metro stops and a number of cafes. I have already recommended Le Tourville to several of my friends.

Staff was always polite and helpful. In particular, one evening, I was late for the opera, it was raining and I was panicked but the woman on duty that evening (I don't know her name) was able to get me a cab and I arrived well in time for the performance. Rooms were very clean and well-maintained. All and all, a lovely experience. ... Lovely, small hotel, elegant, bedroom decorated salmon pink and white, two french windows, large marble bathroom, very clean; wonderful heat (it was cold and raining when I was in Paris) -- there's a thermostat control in bedroom; no radio, no fridge, no bellboy. Near Eiffel Tower but not terribly convenient location from which to get around the city.

I appreciated that the room was available early in the morning after an all night flight. ... The price for access to internet wireless services was very, very high. It is frequently free, and yet at this hotel it cost 10 euros per hour. If I were planning an extended stay again, this alone might result in me selecting a different hotel!! ... When leaving my bags for the morning I found it unnerving to leave them visible in the lobby. A secure back room would have been preferable. ... charming, a little old world in style, with excellent service -- but a little noisy at night.

We encountered trouble with air conditioning in our room. In the 6 days we were there they never repaired it. They controlled it from the reception area in the lobby. We were very dissatisfied with the air conditioning issue. Otherwise, hotel was fine. Location I felt was a bit out of the way. We learned the Metro and used it to get around.

Room very small. Outdoor terrace tiny and dark. Toilet didn't work--had to be moved to another room for first night, and then the hotel insisted on moving us back to the original room. Very little apology for the plumbing failure. This is NOT a FOUR STAR hotel by any stretch. We stayed at the Stafford in London, which IS a beautiful four star hotel.
Further, the facade of the hotel was under major renovation with scaffolding literally covering the front. We were not notified this was occurring. ... No internet access--surely a necessity for a four star hotel in 2005.
No ability to make change.
No way to order just coffee for room service--only the full breakfast. ... Find a better hotel. The location is great, but the ambience can better.
