Overview of

Hotel La Boétie

81, rue La Boétie, Paris, 75008

Hotel La Boétie, 3 Star Hotel, Arrondissement 8, Paris

The hotel works within a construction from the 1950`s, which was opened as a lodging in 1970, and the last renovation took place in 2003. The La Boetie takes its name from the street where it stands, Rue La Boetie, only 5 minutes walking from the Champs Elysées Avenue. Knows as "most beautiful avenue in the world", this track goes from the Place de la Concorde in the east to the Place Charles de Gaulle in the west. It was named like this because of the "Elysian fields" in Greek mythology, according to which it is "the place of the blessed".

Even though there is no restaurant inside the property, there are plenty of bars, restaurants and local "brasseries" along the Champs Elysees avenue and the streets parting from it. Among the must-sees on Champs Elysées, you must go to the Grand Palais, designed by Charles Girault; the Palais de la Découverte, a science exhibition centre opened in 1937; and the Petit Palais, featuring some of the Parisian essential art works.

Of course the Arc de Triomphe is also close by: this landmark of Paris was finished in 1836. It is 50 metres high and features some amazing sculptures such as the Aboukir Battle and the Unknown Soldier tomb. At the hotel you will be in the heart of the Golden Triangle, and from Franklin Roosevelt metro station you may reach other attractions in Paris, such as the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower and the Palais Royal.
