They were ready for us and permitted us to check in early. ... The staff were all very friendly and polite and went out of their way to make arrangements for us during our stay. ... The staff was very accomodating and made a number of arrangements for us and cheerfully altered them when our plans changed. ... A charming hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of most of Paris' historical venues and shopping areas. I would recommend this hotel for anyone vacationing in Paris and wanting to experience the old world atmosphere of this beautiful city.

The hotel was lovely and the staff all very gracious. We had a terrific time.
Ms. Milligan ... The breakfast was more than we expected, foodwise. A very nice selection of items. ... Charming and very well located to the sites that one may wish to see in Paris.

The room we were in (#502) was fine and comfortable, however it was photographed to appear on the Grand Hotel De Champagne brochure looking a lot bigger. A table with a tea setting appears where the entrance to the room is (one could not place a table here since it would occupy the entrance to the room). This is very misleading. ... The propert was aggrandised on the web but still pleasant. ... Excellent location. ... Charming and friendly comfortable hotel with a very good location (due to the Chatelet Metro Station) and great walking access to most of the city. A pleasant stay however with small rooms. No concealed closet space but not bad if you are organised.

indications about what street exit to take form the Chatelet metro would have been helpful. ... superior room was quite small, but adequate. There was a hand held shower in the bath, but no other shower. The room and bathroom were spotless.Fresh towels and sheets were provided each day. ... Not quite about the hotel. But somewhere it should be stressed that many cafes, etc are not open for breakfast on Sunday mornings. If I had known this I would have opted for breakfast in the hotel, but left it too late. ... a lovely old buiding, very central, near the Seine - one could walk everywhere from it. Good area, nice variety of restaurants, etc. Very Parisienne.

my room was poorly isolated for noices from adjacent rooms, esp. the room exactly above us. This did not add to the feeling of privacy we expected. ... size of different kinds of rooms ... would recommend it, BUT try to get a room at the upper floor!!!

We loved our room and our stay in Paris and we would recommend the hotel to our friends! ... Very clean, great location, large rooms, great bathrooms...no view, but that's ok. Close to Metro.

Polite and perfect English which was helpful. ... Room/bathroom a little small but on the whole, absolutely charming atmosphere and extremely friendly staff (which is not so easy to come by in Paris!). ... Quaint, charming, perfectly located close to Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle and the Louvre, friendly, close to several cafes, etc.

They stored our luggage when we arrived and it was in our room after a day of sightseeing. They upgraded us to a triple room, which was great. ... The staff were great about giving directions or where to find a cafe for breakfast. ... The map doesn't show the exact spot on the corner. They should brag about only two blocks from the Metro Chatelet and 4-5 blocks from the Louvre! 'Just steps away' is not detailed enough. ... Great location to the Metro Chatelet(2 blocks) and only 4-5 blocks to the Louvre! We came by TGV and location was important for hauling luggage. Shopping is very close by! Lovely dining room and nice lobby. The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet! We loved the old style decor! The place has a lot of character & history. We would stay there again!

Some initial problems with Paris Shuttle. Didn't know they function like a public bus system. Pick up point was not clear. And the driver stopped a very far distance. Had to dragged 4 luggages (2 very big ones) to the Van with the driver's help.
At the Hotel, I was surprised the lift was so small and especially have to carry my 2 heavy luggages up from 5th floor to the 6th since there is no lift all the way to the top. There was no porter to help carry at all (and at the hour of arrival, only 1 hotel person on duty) ... You need to published on your web site that internet service is available for wireless service (no LAN points) and only at the Lobby and the first two floors. Also, only very limited rooms has the mini-bar and kettle for boiling water. We wanted to switch to the lower floors but decide against it after realising there will be no mini-bar. Our original room was otherwise quite good. Except that there are no shower curtains in the bathroom. ... The Paris Shuttle arrived earlier than expected but fortunately, we were ready. Again, the shuttle dropped us at the airport quite a good distance away.
... As mentioned, the internet is just only wireless and available in the 1st and 2nd storeys.
Only limited rooms has boiling kettles and mini-bars.
Many tour reservations were available (we did not know until last day but probably our own fault for not checking); e.g. Disneyland tickets. ... - Great Location - Quite back-alley - Very near the most central of all the metro station - Quite Homey - Try not to get 6th floor room unless you want to have lots of privacy (great for couples who do not have heavy luggage)
