We arrived earlier than the normal check-in time and were allowed to use our room immediately. The room was wonderful, fresh and very inviting after such a long flight.

An excellent standard of hotel in Paris. We had one of the larger rooms and were very happy. The bathroom was very clean and fresh. There was also plenty of wardrobe space, which can be unusual for a 3 star hotel in Paris.

We have stayed in Paris on numerous occasions and this hotel would be on our highly recommended list. An outstanding location. Good value for money compared to others in Paris. Excellent breakfast selection inluding very fresh fruit salad. Rooms of a very high standard and the larger rooms are very roomy. Bathroom is very bright, fresh and clean. Staff very attentive and helpful. No negative comments at all.

The proprietor was able to accomodate us
with our room early in the morning,
approximately 10:00 AM, which we appreciated
very much.

My daughter and I had a great time in Paris. When you stay at a nice hotel it makes the whole time there enjoyable. It was very close to everything we wanted to see. In fact we did not use taxis or buses at all. Everything in walking distance. The room itself was very clean as were the washrooms, and the staff just great. Will go back. A Sabelli

We missed our original flight and I called the hotel. They were wonderful and kind.
The entire experience was great! They gave good directions, practical advice and had great service, It's a little jewel in a wonderful location. I will love returning there.

While I got the agreed-to accommodations, it required a room change. The first room they put me in was not ideal -- too small and without an adequate window or view. They were very nice about switching me to another room with a wonderful view.

The room was lovely and the staff very friendly, for the most part. It was a little noisy on the street below my window, but that was not the Hotel's fault.

The location was ideal -- very central and near a metro stop. I felt safe and well-attended to. I would return in a heartbeat and will recommend Hotel De Fleurie to others.

The towel warmers may not be operational in the summer. You might want to check this out. Also, I found it impossible to make e-mail connections from their lobby computer. You might want to instruct guests to secure international e-mail accounts to ease the process. I didn't have one. Be sure to mention the refridgerator in the room and the TV. Those were nice touches. People should ask for a window street, if they want some sunshine in their room.

Relatively charming -- nice, safe, and clean. The lobby is pretty straightforward. It's not a 'wow' when you walk in the door. The hallways upstairs are kinda dim and worn out. The rooms are sweet and clean and the bathrooms are newly remodeled and attractive. The small fridg in the room is a nice touch, as is the TV.

The hotel is small and very well-run. Only complaint was not or could not be rectified: The TV sound was at max volume so low that I could only hear it if I was sitting on top of it. I asked for an adjustment on the set, but i was told it was impossible.

don't remember the website - but would mention the quiet location (no passing traffic) and yet so close to the Avenue St Germain with all its small shops in the side streets.

Simply: It's not cheap, but a quality hotel with an English-speaking very friendly staff. GO THERE!

Re question #1, I didn't see any directions to the hotel. Directions would have been helpful because the taxi driver had a lot of trouble finding it.

Hotel De Fleurie was absolutely first rate! I will recommend it to anyone I
know going to Paris. The rooms are clean and very nicely equipped, it is
VERY quiet, the location is terrific (can walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame,
etc.), the desk staff is friendly and helpful, and--most importantly, as we
were there during the heat wave--the air conditioning is VERY robust. Most European air conditioning is not very good by US standards, so it is a compliment to say that the air conditioning at the hotel is just like American air conditioning. (Lest you think I am a very obnoxious American, let me say that I recognize that Paris is one of the great cities of the world and has many attractions that cannot be equaled in the US or anywhere else. I hope to return some day soon.) Another feature of the hotel is that it is close to restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, grocery store, produce market, etc. There is a bakery close by that has the best baguettes I have ever eaten.

The one unpleasant aspect of our reception upon arrival was the requirement that check in could not take place before 1pm. Our misfortune was that our flight arrived at CDG in the morning. After a long flight from Los Angeles we were exhausted and wanted nothing more than our hotel room where we could shower and rest. However, the staff stuck to the rule and we were forced to wait until the official check-in time. The Hotel de Fleurie like all hotels in Paris deal with an international clientel who have no ability to dtermine the arrival times of their flights. If the flight arrives in the morning, the hotel guest is out of luck and has no room to retreat to upon arrival. To add an extra day to ones bill for a few hours makes no sense and is extremely costly, especially at today's rate of exchange. When we have stayed at similar sized hotels in Rome, the staff enquired before our arrival as to when we would be arriving in order to have a room ready for us. My wife and I really do appreciate your hotel, except for this rigid feature. We wish something could be done so that travelers arriving a few hours before 1pm could be accomadated.

We had stayed at the hotel previously and knew what to expect. Our room was clean, quiet and comfotable, but hardly spacious. But as I indicated, we knew what to expect and except for the check-in time were quite satified with our accomadations I might add, the breakfasts were quite good.

The hotel is charming and feels typically French. We had three rooms. The bathrooms in each of the rooms had been recently renovated and were small, but very nicely appointed.
The location, near the Odeon, was really fun and convenient. But, it was pretty noisy at night when we were trying to sleep.

We stayed in Paris for a few days and were then heading to Switzerland to ski for another 8 days. The hotel graciously kept our ski equipment (skis, heavy boot and helmut bag, huge duffel with all our ski clothes) in their storage room so we wouldn't have to have it crowded into our own rooms. It was all ready for us when we checked out.

Great location, rooms are smallish, but clean, renovated, and nicely appointed. Noisy at night. But, really a cheap rate for such a great location and nice hotel -- I'd stay there again.

Reception, while polite, was a little stand-offish in the greeting. We felt it to be a bit strained and formal rather than warm and outgoing. However, initial contact on check-in with the chamber maid who led us to our room was very informative and friendly.

The room was delightful ..(although a few head bumps for my 6'2' husband, due to sloping ceilings!) ...charming & colorful window treatments, firm comfortable mattress, extra pillows (without asking!), exquisite antique dresser, lovely view of Paris rooftops from skylight window (that opened!) and every inch of room immaculate! In addition, the room was freshly painted a warm golden hue around exposed antique wooden beams, complimentary greeting basket of driet fruit!.. and the bathroom, newly remodeled, complete with lovely fire-glazed designer tiles and the latest, top of the line china fixtures. His and Her complimentary 'Hotel de Fleurie' terry slippers and daily replenishment of large fluffy towels (4)and complimentary toiletries.

The complimentary dried fruit basket in the room and slippers (just that little extra touch) was very impressive.

A THREE STAR*** that acts like a FOUR STAR****...charming, delightful, immaculate, full service hotel in a fabulous location... and quiet too!!! The $10 per person 'petite dejeuner' may appear a bit pricey for bargain hunters, but has EVERYTHING you would want in a full buffet breakfast(croissants, baguettes, butter, ham, cheese, yogurt, fresh and pureed fruits, cereals, granola, fresh squeezed juices, bottled water, cocoa, tea, cafe au lait).. a fab bargain at the 10Euro price, especially if you time it right. You can literally 'skip lunch' and survive on a late afternoon snack until dinner.

An excellent hotel with very good rooms, a bit small as probably are most Paris hotel rooms. Great bathroom with a great tub that was most appreciated along with the air conditioning since our stay in Paris was during a very warm period. Very friendly staff who would go out of there way to help in any way they could. I used the hotel computer with internet access several times and found that easy to use and a big plus.

It was a bit disorganized the morning of our departure. I had ordered a taxi to go to the airport the previous night (from the concierge)and stated the number of bags we had. The next morning, the taxi was 1/2 hour late and was very cramped. Also, breakfast was ordered but did not show up until I went to check out and asked again for breakfast to be served in out rooms. The staff was coureous and seemed eager to correct the mistakes--was just a little sloppy.
