The hotel was in a great location as it was surrounded by bars and restaurants and was close to a number of sites (particularly Notre Dame). We had a large, well designed room, which was lovely to relax in after a day spent walking around the city. My only criticism would be that due to the fact that the hotel is located on a narrow street, the rooms don't get an awful lot of natural light. This was fine as we went in December, but I'm not sure we would've enjoyed it as much had we gone during the summer. ... Stylish - perfect for a weekend away in the cold winter months.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa D'Estrees and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. The hotel has been beautiful redesigned and refurbished with very large rooms, king sized beds and marble baths. It is well decorated and comfortable. It is quiet as well, for Paris, since it is tucked away on a small side street. The staff was very friendly and was helpful with making reservations and suggesting restaurants. The hotel is walking distance from Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens and is only a half block from the Seine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return again soon. ... See above ... see above ... Spacious rooms, relatively quiet side street, ... see above

It was very welcoming and they had our room ready early which was especially nice. ... It was very lovely and much quieter than I expected. We would definitely stay at Villa d'Estrees again and would definitely book through parisby.com. A flawless experience! ... I don't recall if the description mentioned how quiet the street was. Definitely a plus. ... Larger than most rooms on the Left Bank and very lovely. Very nicely decorated and really beyond my expectations.

Anne- The manager is a delight! She could not have been more helpful- made several reservations for us and was great! The hotel is nice- small- a little noisy due to street partying at night but window closed solved that. The rooms were very clean and large for a Paris hotel I would definitely go back- great location and a very French feel to the decor.

The rooms we had were across from the main hotel, at Residence Des Arts. We were informed of that when we made the reservations. I was delighted when we arrived (at 9:00 A.M.) by the truly warm reception we recieved from the woman running things at Villa d'Estrees. She gave us directions, took our bags, and made us feel so very welcome. I can't recall her name, but she spoke perfect English, and had moved to Paris a year and a half ago. When we came back later our things had all been moved into our room, and she found directions to an obscure restaurant I was looking for. All in all a very excellent experience. ... The bathroom was fine, but didn't feel luxurious. For the price however it was quite adequate.

At present, there are road blocks near the hotel (rue St Andre des Arts)which meant that the taxi could not stop in front of the hotel. This didn't bother us, it was a very short walk.
My husband wanted to take a shower at 11:30 am and there was no more hot water. ... We loved the hotel, which was very quiet, private and intime, like staying in a small villa. The staff was very soft spoken, charming and helpful, the room very pretty and comfortable. We will definitely return there for a weekend. I would not consider it a family hotel, which we liked very much, although there is room for a child to sleep in the same room on a daybed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful.
We use Parisby, Florenceby and Romeby all the time and feel they represent properties honestly. We have not yet been disappointed. I will be spending the next week in a Romeby property on Viale Aventino.

Very pleasant and welcoming. We took a cab from CDG so didn't use your directions to the hotel. The name of the street on the web site I don't think is exactly correct. ... The hotel was undergoing a computer change so I couldn't really check to see if our bill was accurate. However, the desk staff were so professional, I had no problem in trusting them. ... In a great part of town and we were made very welcome.
