 Our quiet, light-filled one bedroom apartment (62 sq. m., 667 sq. ft.) is an open space with oak floors and fully equipped for modern comfort. Throughout the apartment you will find modern mid-century classics by Eames, Noguchi, Arne Jacobsen and Hans Wegner, combined with designs by contemporary artists and designers. All of this inside a 17th century building with high ceilings, double-exposure including seven windows. |
 The fully equipped kitchen includes dishes, glassware, cooking equipment, etc. and modern kitchen appliances by Siemens including a microwave oven, washing/dryer, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and dining table. In the living room, you'll find a Conran Shop sofa-bed (double sized), Hans Wegner chair, Noguchi table and other chairs for your comfort along with a television, VCR, Cable and a stereo system. We have a full library of travel books along with novels and books about the neighborhood. |
 As part of the living room, there is a desk with DSL Internet access including WiFi and a fax/printer. The bedroom has a hand-crafted cast iron queen-sized bed by Amsterdam artist Maroeska Metz which brings a touch of baroque styling to your romantic evening. Large closets provide plenty of room to hang up your clothes along with an iron and ironing board. All-cotton designer sheets and towels are provided. |
 The extra-large bathroom contains an over-sized shower, separate bathtub and heated towel rack all in a very large space. There is also a separate powder room (WC) with a sink. The owners personally return twice per year to care for the furniture and maintain this charming apartment and maintain its high quality and friendly atmosphere. A bottle of personally selected wine and flowers will be waiting for you! |
