Charming hotel, excellent location, very nice concierge -madame Francoise, very nice room, clean and big enough for Paris, very clean bathroom. A little bit noisy at 6-7 a.m. because of the delivery trucks. The voucher mentioned a bathroom with shower cabin but we got better - a bath.We are very satisfied and we will certainly come back.

Excellent. Charming. Very secure place (Ministry of Interior on the same street and Elysee Palace at the corner of the street). I already told to my friends about the hotel.

When I asked for metro directions to Sacre Cooer, the front staff person gave me a very roundabout way. I knew I could get there with one line, & when I asked for it, she told me (I couldn't remember from my last stay). other then that, very good.

Staff gave excellent directions for where I had to go to get flight at an airport I wasn't familiar with & got a taxi as required.

small, intimate friendly property. Great location if that part of the city is where you want to stay. (I prefer left bank, or Marais district). Clean, safe. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend & have done so.

We enjoyed our short stay at this lovely hotel, which was very well situated in Paris (near the Place de la Madeleine and the Place de la Concorde). We shared a twin room which was small and quite near to the other rooms on the same floor but this is to be expected in small hotels in Paris! Our bathtub was small - I had to bend my knees and I'm 5'4') so it might be a good idea to request a room with a larger bathtub if you are tall as it is so comforting to arrive back at the hotel and have a good soak in the bathtub after sight-seeing all day in Paris. Otherwise, the hotel is located in a nice quiet area which is ideal for those who like to sleep soundly!

The hotel lift is very small. It states on the wall in the lift that it only accommodates a maximum of 3 people but I would advise only 2 people as it is really cramped. I'm not sure how people with a lot of lugggage can fit into such a small space!

Booked a double room but got 2 twin beds pushed together with a cot in the room which had not been requested.

Our room was OK but nothing special and not up to expectations from the images on the website. The room was quite small but this was not unexpected and there was a fair bit of early morning noise from the road. The shower was very tiny.
No minibar.

The night receptionist was rude and unhelpful, we were just handed our key and expected to know where to go. No offer to help us with our bags either.

Some rooms are obviously better than others. Our room was situated right along the street and would often be very loud at night time making it difficult to get to sleep. Other than that the rooms were wonderful and clean.

Very well situated in a safe street, lots of police around due to ministerial buildings being in the same street. Great location to a metro and a 5 minute walk to the Champs Elysee. Rooms are nice however some are located on a road with no apparent sound insulation and as a result can be very noisy.

We were not advised about the breakfast room downstairs when we checked in
The location of the staircase outside the lift could be tricky for some guests, especially if carrying luggage. However there are warning signs in 4 languages in the lift

We booked our room the night before we arrived
and were very pleased to get Room 51. We had
seen a photo in the April 20, 2008 NY Times
taken from this room. We were so pleased with
the view and the location. It was a great
surprise and made our stay in Paris definitely
more romantic! We plan on returning next year!

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was slightly smaller than I'd have liked. But the location was so good that we were out a lot and the room size didn't matter too much. There was no iron in the room - which i was slightly surprised at - but it came relatively promptly when we asked.

If you don't like noise, ask for a room not overlooking the street as it was fairly noisy on the Saturday night we were there.

The directions from the Metro to the first street were very confusing. A discription of the surroundings at the top of the steps would be helpful as you are in a square, not a street. Luckily I had a garmin device with me that lead me to the hotel.

The hotel arranged baggage holding as we were not traveling until after 12noon checkout and had to vacate the room at noon. They also arranged taxi transfer without quibble. A very pleasant stay, not noisey and extremely relaxed, rooms were very warm.

It is situated alongside some very important buildings which are patrolled 24hours a day. This makes it one of the safest locations in any capital city!

Central, very cozy, relaxed and tremendously quiet! The rooms are well soundproofed and the facilities are superb. There is a wonderful lounge where you can sit and relax as if you were at home in your sitting room. I will be back!

The rooms suffered from noise occuring in the street. As the rooms were very warm it was necessary to keep the windows open, which increased the noise level. Double glazing plus air conditioning would have helped. However, out overall satisfaction with the hotel was high.

The staff were very accommodating, providing safe keeping for our luggahe both on arrival and after checkout. This helped us to get the maximum amoun tof enjoyment out of our visit.

The room was far too small with little extra space around the bed. Toilettries provided were limited to a soap and shampoo sachets. Generally a decent place to stay, clean and very helpfull staff. The location was the most important advantage of the hotel.

Nice and clean, adequate for the money. Convenient location. The room was somewhat load due to ongoing construction on the street. Felt very safe with guards and policemen all over because of the interior ministry and embassies in the neighbourhood. Plenty of restaurants bars and metro nearby.
