The Duty Manager (Fred) was extremely polite and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The first room we had was very small, but had a view of the Eiffel Tower from the window. We were told that if we preferred we could move to a much larger room if we liked for the remaining 7 nights, which we did. It was nice to have the view on the first night and then have the more comfortable room after that.

Excellent location. Walking distance to a lot of the more famous sites and to a local market and hundreds of restaurants. Our room was a reasonable size and bathroom quite large, (larger than we were expecting after reading some reviews of hotel accommodation in Paris). All the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. All in all, better than we were possibly expecting.

Wonderful location in a fantastic neighborhood. The experience was one of memories to be kept.
Fred at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay beyond expectations. Aym need or questions we had were dealt with quickly and with good humour.
I would be pleased to recommend the Hotel Reive Gauche to anyone who wanted a wonderful experience in Paris.

We were forced to switch rooms after one
night.

Worse (#9) is not a fair description. The
rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL. Very clean, but
small. The beds are not comfortable and all
the pillows need to be replaced.

Prompt response to request re room. Very efficient proprietor.

Some rooms hot, street a bit noisy at night, but staff were prepared to move guests to better rooms. NB You have to ask for a fan.

The room was a bit small (to say the least),
but the service was great, the staff very
polite and helpful. At least the view of the
