Hotel Ecole Centrale feels tucked away, a charming surprise, just blocks from the metro, the Pompidou and Les Halles. We walked everywhere from this hotel, and felt refreshed and ready for another day after every night.

This hotel was so unique; the owner has obviously put a lot of work into the restoration, which is really incredible. The bathrooms, often small in european hotels, were spacious and lovely. The paint, stucco, decorations all are very well done. A really admirable job has been done throughout. The location was great for the price we paid. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

I was pleased to find that it was a small hotel, something which I had not been able to discover from the website and which matters to me. The website had lots of/too many photographs but ot enough basic information about the size and style of the hotel.

It was my second time at this hotel and I am again very happy with my stay there.It is clean and quite good value for money, being a very central location in Paris.The receptionists are extremely helpful and polite.

The staff were very helpful on getting us a taxi and giving us directions on where we wanted to go. One of them spent a half hour going over bus routes and train routes with me, which I am very appreciative for. All in all, it is good value for money. It is approximately €20 more expensive than it was 2 years ago but still good value.

Our hotel stay was completely delightful. The room was clean and pleasant--a nice combination of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. The in-room safe was convenient, the bathroom sparkling. The location was wonderful, convenient to the metro and cafes, museums, and several points of interest for us. The hotel personnel were warm, kind, and helpful.

Was disappointed by the fact that the air conditioning was not able to function below 20 degrees. This was mentioned to reception, there reply was that it was too cold to run the air con fully, was only set to heat. This was a problem as we were on the top floor, room was very warm - especially at night. We could not leave the window open due to excessive street noise - not impressed.

The walls are very thin, so you could hear people next door very clearly. We were desperate for a high chair for the baby. We didn't enjoy the lovely breakfast together since we had to have our son on the lap.
A big shame!
