We had a car and got very good directions from Laura via email on how to find the closest parking. (excellent at Forum des Halles). The first time walking from the carpark to the hotel was a bit challenging but Paris Police were very helpful in providing directions. Check in was very cordial and set a very nice tone for the rest of our stay. ... The entire hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated and in excellent repair. In fact this hotel and the people we met there were the highlight of our European vacation! The staff was always very cordial and helpful and a real pleasure to talk with. The room was not large but very adequate for our needs and, again, wonderfully up to date and clean. Air conditioning worked wonderfully! The breakfast room, in particular, was beautiful. Location is terrific, within easy walking distance of most important sites.
I felt very fortunate, having selected Hotel Des Ducs d'Anjou from the internet then finding that it so perfectly matched our needs. Very good value - we'll definitely stay there again and heartily recommend it! ... Check out was well coordinated and uneventful. We got excellent driving directions out of the city as well ... The key things are to emphasize the great location, the off street location which minimizes noise, and the very accomodating staff.
Please pass on our compliments to the hotel staff! ... As indicated above, it was a highlight of our wonderful visit to Paris. Location, staff, facilities were terrific!

Very pleasant and charming reception. We arrived early and were allowed to go the the room (10:30 am). ... The reception desk staff, maid and breakfast staff were exceptionally freiendly and effective. I was allowed to use their house phone for over an hour while calling for replacement stolen credit cards (wallet stolen on the metro). ... Was very quick and efficient -- no problems. ... The staff made it extremely enjoyable. ... A warm reception staff in a good, three star hotel. Very big breakfast buffet. Location is perfect -- near a major subway hub at Chatelet/Les Halles. Staff was very friendly and competent.

Nice hotel with good staff and great location. Rooms were a bit small, but perhaps not unusually so for the price and location.

Forgot to bring rinted confirmation and location of hotel; taxi driver did not know and had great difficulty finding this hotel. He was far more patient and accomodating than I've ever experienced anywhere in 30+ years of touring. ... Staff offered assistance many times with every suggestion for dining and touring being very good advice. ... Agreed to store luggage until departure later in the day than check out; arranged for taxi pick-up at the appointed time without incident or inconvenience. ... In case the taxi driver doesn't know the street, include a description of the square nearby and the directions off Rue Rivoli. ... Lovely experience with all expectations met. The square around the corner has a breath-taking fountain and lovely cafes to enjoy. All staff and property details were superior for this class of hotel.

Just the directions do tell you where to get off, but what it doesnt tell you is that you need to look for the chatlet entrance of the metro. I ended up at Les Halles, as not even the ticket man knew where it was we were going... But it was ok. ... Very nice Hotel, and would go again. ... All good ... Nice botigue hotel, better than big chains...and very friendly
