What a warm, efficient, knowledgeable staff welcomed us! We were elated from the first contact. ... In 1973 my family and I stayed in this hotel when it was the Slavia and had a wonderful time then. However, the new owner and his personnel far exceed any previous service and will be recommended by me to my friends and colleagues. The stay in this hotel provided a splendid beginning for our trip to France this summer. By the way, I have been traveling to France since 1969, so am in a good position to evaluate quality and value. La Demeure amply provides both in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Thank you for your services in helping me reserve our room. Keep up your good work! ... Outstanding as every other aspect of this experience. ... This area is much less crowded by the hoards of tourists one finds everywhere, has a nice, safe, neighborhood ambience, and offers several convenient services nearby; however, this location does require a bit of metro riding to get to the major monuments. However, the Les Gobelins stop is only a couple of blooks away and is on a major old line that links to everything one could seek to see. ... Very friendly, spotlessly clean, wonderful staff, a good value in all.

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. One of our favorite hotels out of many trips to Paris. The room was a little larger than expected, the area, while not in heart ofSt. Germain, was not far from anything. The staff was helpful, there was dsl in our room which was tremendously helpful. The area was in itself a vibrant area with great restaurants. Because they weren't in the heart of tourist central we found the cafes to be less expensive but the food was great. There was no shortage of great restaurants and cafes -particularly notable was the Canon Gobelin down the street. Might want to skip the 13 eu breakfast at the hotel and go down the street where you can get it for 5-6 eu. Also, our room was very quiet. We were on the ground floor, near the lobby, but our room looked out on a private courtyard. Great value for the money. Note: they do charge extra for use of the dsl. Parisby.com is fantastic. We got this room for about 40 eu less than other websites. ... Happy to find out they had a wake up call. That made checking out and getting to the airport easy. ... Don't think so. Did have internet connection, don't know if that was visible on the website. ... A great little boutique hotel. It is family run I believe, and has a friendly atmosphere. It is large enough for you to be anoynmous if you want, but there are people there to help if you need it. Has a nice lobby for hanging out, 2 rooms actually, so if your room is small, the lounge is quite comfortable. Good location and great value

The main guy - Francois or FX - was very welcoming and quite helpful during our stay. ... The rooms were a bit small, but we were given a room with a balcony, so that was very nice. ... It was a great location. The room is small, but very nice. And, it was always well-kept by the cleaning staff. The lobby is very modern and stylish and so are the rooms. The staff were very accomodating and in general, it was a pleasure to stay at Hotel La Demeure.

I did not arrive until 10.30 in the evening but the hotel porter was very friendly and recommended a restaurant closeby where we could eat. This turned out to be one of the nicest meals I had during my stay, so it was a great start to my break! ... The hotel was spotless and the rooms were cleaned every day. ... Directions to the nearest metro station would be handy - I did not see these on the website. ... A little on the outskirts of the Latin Quarter but still within 20 mins. walk of Notre Dame. A great location if you are a 'walker' but there's also the metro.
Expensive if your on a tight budget but well worth it to know you are staying in a safe location, spotlessly clean hotel with very friendly and professional staff.

A well decorated room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and Pantheon dome, within walking distance of several attractions and with friendly staff, most of them willing and able to speak English.

Great, newly renovated hotel, slightly off the beaten path which offers everything you want and need at a reasonable price. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We found the hotel easily, and were in our room within 2 minutes of checking in - the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. ... The room was smaller than we'd expected but this was of no importance - it was very clean and nicely decorated, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asked for information. ... No problems at all - and the receptionist asked us what time our train home was, and offered to keep our bags for us so we didn't have to carry them all day - this was very helpful, as we didn't even have to ask! ... None that I can think of! ... A pleasant place to stay - good value and in an excellent location.

The room was small and the bathroom was very large! The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful with directions and helping us navigate our way around paris. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again. ... I think facilities such as tea and coffee making would be extremely beneficial. ... Great location, friendly helpful staff, smallish rooms but very clean.

It was clean and well organised but rather small and less attractie than I expected. ... very organised and helpful -looked after our bags for the morning. ... Fairly expensive ( for what it is) but a nice, air conditioned place, rooms rather small but really helpful staff and well organised. Location ok - near a metro.
