The visual representation of the hotel gave us an opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the property. No suprises are a good thing when traveling. ... The staff of the hotel were excellent. I am not sure your site gives them credit. jpr ... convenience ... excellent helpful staff. ... The staff are very accomodating and have a network of support and contacts which proved invaluable during the public employee strike in Paris

Excellent service.
... All aspects of our stay were of the highest standards. The hotel will be recommended to friends in the future. ... Easy walking distance to many fine left bank cafes and restaurants. It is very pleasant after a day of touring Paris to reserve and eat within blocks of the hotel and not get involved with taxis, etc. Close proximity to the D'orsay and Louvre Museums. ... Yes.

Staff were very helpful at all times. We also found the accommodation to be everything and more than we'd expected. The hotel was in an excellent location and was small and friendly, which we prefer to large and characterless. The communal areas were inviting and comfortable. We will definitely visit again. ... Once again, staff could not have been more helpful. ... A jazz band plays in the bar on occasion. There is an excellent choice of cocktails. ... A fantastic, not-too-large hotel in a great location. Rooms are not over- nor under-done and have every 'basic' luxury. Staff are extremely helpful and the hotel has a friendly, family atmosphere while the service as a whole maintains its slick professionalism. A great place to stay.

Very helpful staff in obtaining a cab and helping with luggage. ... After having seen the hotel we feel that the less expensive rooms would probably not be too noisy since Rue Dauphine is a one way street. I don't think it is possible to find a hotel with a better general location than this one. ... If we had not had to change our hotel arrangements at the last minute we would probably have been able to spend a little more time finding an eqivalent room for a much lower price. That being said there was nothing about the stay that was not satisfactory. We were disappointed that breakfast was not included, however. This is the only hotel in Europe that we have ever stayed in that breakfast was not included. We paid over 450 Euros per night - coffee and a croissant would not have been too much to ask but we did not specifically ask for this on booking so really can't complain. A lesson learned.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. In addition, there was a complimentary large brioche and pot of jam awaiting us on arrival in our room, whcih was a very nice touch. ... Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found that the hotel bar prices were very high - on nights where live jazz was playing there was an €8 minimum for all drinks which we were forced to pay even though we were seated in the lounge area at the back of the hotel away from the cafe, I felt that as residents, we should not be charged the €8 miniumum applicable to cafe customers on jazz nights, but as a result of this policy I was charged €8 for a Perrier water. ... A very charming hotel with fabulous period features, excellent friendly service, very centrally located in a vibrant and interesting area of Paris within walking distance of many historic and tourist attractions. The local area is a delight to walk around, filled with restaurants, boutiques and wonderful food shops. The hotel facilities such as the lounge, bar and terrace provide a tranquil escape from the bustle of the Saint Germain area to escape after a day's sightseeing.

We arrived early and the room was ready for us, which was a very pleasant surprise ... We enjoyed our stay very much. Our only negative observation is that the room we stayed in, while very nicely appointed, was smaller than we expected. The public rooms on the other hand are quite lovely, as was the overall experience. ... A charming hotel, very well located with a friendly staff and lovely public spaces.
