Travellers Reviews

There were 9 of us traveling together and we had booked 6 rooms booked to accommodate us. We were a bit overwhelming when we first arrived and their booking/reservation system is a bit antiquated but they had all the reservations and everyone in our party was satisfied. ... We loved the hotel. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and well appointed. The rooms look to be recently renovated and the bathrooms were clean and new.
We loved the location. It was in the latin quartier but far enough away from all the tourists areas that crowds and noise were not a problem. In fact, we were located in a charming residential area, which had an outdoor market everyday - yet there were plenty of restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, brassiere's and much more to choose from.
The prices were considerably lower than other places in the latin quartier.
We loved it and would go back again. ... See my comments above.

Only reason #6 is not rated always was because of language differences - sometimes staff were unable/unwilling to provide information I was seeking. ... A good hotel - on the outskirts of the Latin Quarter so a fair walk to the city centre - but transport is good - nice room - cute...

the receptionist at first was a little off hand, but over the coming days we got to kinow him reasonably well and he turned out to be a great source of information. ... the area set aside for breakfast is within the foyer and not the best arrangement for either those partaking of petite dejeuner of new arrivals or departure. I would presume that the receptionist also finds this arrangement not to be to their liking. We were told that changes are already underway to create a separate dining area. ... as we had been upgraded there was some intial confusion about the daily tariff we were to pay. This was a miscommunication between 2 staff members. In the end we only paid the sum quoted on our voucher. ... proximity to bus and train services. Proximity to the Mustafa markets also seems to be a good selling point. Close to laundrette (lavage) if travellers need to do their own laundry and washing. ... quiet, handy to all transport services, comfortable and affordable

Fine - the afternoon reception person was much more helpful than the morning one. They were happy for me to look after my bag all day on my last day, after check-out. ... It is in a very quiet district that I, as a woman travelling solo, felt very happy with. It is also close to Rue Mouffetard which is a quintessential Parisian experience with nice little eateries, food shops and market stalls.

Nothing special, everything was ok. Just the chair at the entrance is not necessary. It is beautiful but one cannot enter quiet easily. That's all. ... Say something about the near rue Mouffetard which is a very nice place and the Place St.Médard is charming. ... I would recommend it warmly.
