There was some confusion with my reservation. It might have been because they were made online and I did it accidently twice at some point. Then I had to cancel one.
Everything worked out fine.

It is an old parisian hotel and I did not expect the latest Hilton et al. business accomodations.
The salle de bain was spacious and light enough. The view on the street was, well, parisian, noisy and colorful. I love it.

Presently the value of the $ is low, so for me as an American, it was expensive. But Paris is always expensive

The TV in my room was ancient. They could use a newer set, a better access and more channels.
The cleaning of my small room, with all my stuff laying around, [lack of space/drawers to put them away], was more than satisfactory. Upon my departure I complimented the maid and left a good gratuity. If you have a way to tell the management, please do so and you may use my name. I don't recall her name, but she was young and small.

Typically small, old Parisian hotel in the center of the town. Convenient to everything, including train stations, shopping and tourist attractions.

The room was worn needed to be cleaned, the floor and carpet to be replaced/ repaired.
Thebed was old / worn and the pillows stank of smoke.
Bathroom was clean and modern.

Rooms looked more plush on the web-site than in reality. Room sloped. Okay for three people in one room for a couple of nights but no more. Good central location the most positive aspect.

The room was relatively small (therefore cannot mentioned that it was 'spacious') - carpet looks really old and I personnally do not really appreciate this kind of 'thick carpet' as I am allergic...

Recent change in management, some furnishings in some of the rooms are a little tired and in need of attention but I believe renovations are planned for November. On the whole a good experience and well priced. Very attentive and prompt staff. I hope that the renovations dont push the prices up as I feel it is adequately priced and I have stayed here in the past.

Comfortable, spacious for Paris, fairly priced and with a great front desk team. Very well situated for opera/theatres and shopping and many of Paris's sights are walking distance. Some rooms are in need of attention but on the whole a good address to know.
