We have stayed at two of the Melia hotels. The Alma and now the Alexander. We have really enjoyed them. They are very quiet and clean rooms. We will definitly recommend this hotel. ... Great neighborhood, Quiet, elegant, charming small hotel. Helpful, engaging staff.

We asked the desk to get a taxi for us - the one they called did not come. After more than 25 minutes the staff offered to take no action but call the company again - it sdis not answer the phone. I walked to the corner taxi stand myself and got a taxi for us - the staff should have done that! We were very tight on our plane departure as a result. ... nice hotel in a very nice, non-touristy neighbourhood.
